Hello, 2012.

2011 has come and gone by quick.
I guess this is said about most years, but in this last year a lot has happened in Husband and my life.
Liiiiiiiiike...Each other for instance.
I guess you could technically group that in 2010 as well, but he didn't get home till 2011.
Anyway, This year has been so good to me! I can't even keep track of all my many wonderful blessings in this past year, let alone my life.
Just SOME events that happened...
In January (26th) Husband returned home from his mission.
We dated (fell in love), got engaged and MARRIED!
Getting married in probably the highlight, in my book. It was absolutely a dream come true!
For me, I got to go to the Temple and gain more understanding of why it is so amazing.
Have gone to Alaska (on a cruise), Oklahoma, and California (Disneyland), and many places around Utah.
I got a new job working for that airlines that I am so blessed to have and enjoy (usually).
We got our first place together in Alpine.

This last year has brought a lot of  firsts for us, but in the next year we have plenty more to come!
I'm so excited to see what will happen, also a little scared.
We have been truly blessed with many things in our life.
A place to live, both having jobs, being able to support ourselves as well as being able to help others. We have had good health. We have been able to travel a little bit. We have awesome family. We have a lot of love given to us. The list goes on and on.
I am so thankful for all that Husband and I have.
I am so thankful for Husband.
I pray that 2012 has many more good things to bring and that we may continue to progress in things that we have started and news things that we may come across.

Husband and I are ETERNALLY grateful to our Heavenly Father.
He answers our prayers and loves us unconditionally.
He knows what we need and when we need it.
He is great and he is good!
(more on where this is coming from later.)

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and that 2012 is good to you!
To health and happiness!
Trust me, if you have those to things you are a wealthy person. I believe anyway. All I need is
1. Husband
2. Happiness (husband makes me happy- Check)
3. Health :)

Christmas Weekend.

Our first Christmas together was SUPER wonderful!
I mean, I knew it would be. Obviously.
It's kind of sad how as you get older Christmas gets less and less fun...
But being able to be with Husband made it the best it has ever been!
It was so fun to see him open his presents and just  to be there in the morning to wish each other a "Merry Christmas"
I have to  give a HUGE thanks to my mom, who picked up my Christmas shift at work so that Husband and I could be together for our very first Christmas!
Thanks Mom, I love you! You're the best mommy dearest!

Anyway, right after work on Christmas Eve we went down to Fairview to be with the Carltons'
On the way down, husband said it was kind of a bummer there was no snow, because it completes the Christmas spirit, but a great surprise to us. Fairview had SNOW!!
Being in Australia for the last two Christmas' makes you miss snow around that time, probably.
Whether you get used to it or not.
When we finally got to his parents.
We ate dinner and opened "brother&sister" gifts.
and we sang happy birthday to Baby Jesus.
After that I was about gone I had been up for almost 24 hours.

Christmas morning we got to open all of our presents and Husband did so good! He takes such good care of me, but seriously being with him on Christmas was enough. The best gift of all.
Oh, I got a new camera..so I can finally take pictures for all my stories.
The day of this boring blog is over...As soon as it charges!
For breakfast we cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate..mmm... Definitely a Christmas breakfast.

Some people may not like having Christmas on a Sunday, but I think it is pretty special and it helps to actually remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas and to remember the birth of our Savior and the most wonderful gift he gave to us!

I am so sad that these holiday seasons are basically over for another year.
But it's alright a whole year more of adventures, plus Husband has almost been home an ENTIRE year...How crazy is that?
Who knew we would be married at this time last year? Not me, but I am so glad we are.
I love him more and more everyday.

I Hate Shopping.

I am so thankful that I have Monday's off now.
I love being able to be with Husband for Family Home Evening!
It really is a great blessing, that I will never take for granted.
Especially since my schedule, I have learned can change at anytime!
Plus, Husband is going to be starting school here pretty quick.
Which, I am so proud of him!

Anyway, last night we went to Sherlock Holmes 2.
If you liked the first one, you will like the second one.
It is way good and very interesting.
I want his job!
I want his talents. His brain.
Robert Downey Jr. is a genius as Sherlock Holmes.
Somethings he did reminded me a bit of Johnny Depp and his acting....style I guess you could say.
It is kind of long, so if you fall asleep in movies (like me) don't go to a late showing.
It was so lovely to be with Husband.
like ALWAYS.

With 5 DAYS until Christmas, I have yet to do my shopping.
Oops...
Guess what I am doing today?
Shopping.
I am not excited...
For one, I hate shopping. I know I'm weird.
Two, the stores and malls are going to be crazy!
Three, I really don't like shopping. At all.

Uhhhggg....Here I go.

Classy.

Yesterday, I got a sweet surprise!
Husband got to go home from work around lunch time.
It was snowing...
But that's ok with me. I LOVE all the extra time I get with him!
We ran a couple errands.
We got a couple Christmas gifts. One for his brother and stuff to send a package to his cousin, Whitney, who is serving a mission.
Gift shopping, I think gets more and more complicated.
Every year. No matter what.
Oh well, it's something to look forward to, right?

Husband's work party was also last night and we had to get a couple white elephant gifts.
You wanna know what two gifts made it home with us?
........
A candy lifesavers book.
and
A home drug test.

I know. Classy.
It was pretty funny though.

I can't believe how soon Christmas will be here!
It's exciting, but sad at the same time.
I love this Holiday spirit stuff.
The lights, the movies, the smells, ya know. All that good stuff.
It's our first Christmas together and his first Christmas back since his mission!
He keeps asking me what I want, but seriously I have NO idea.
As long as we are together on Christmas, that is all I care about.
For reals. He is the best Christmas gift ever.
The best thing ever really.
I don't need anything else.
Maybe a baby, EVENTUALLY.

**Husband, if you are reading this, I really don't need anything or want anything, but you. :)
Luh you.

As for what I am getting Husband...
Well, I have an idea!
Ya know, since he won't give me any ideas... :)
but, I think he will like my idea.
I hope.

5.

Hello World....
Today is the 9th.
Husband and I have been married for FIVE months!
Woohoo!
I swear I was just typing the "four"...
Ya know...a month ago.
I warned you ALL that I would be posting this every month.
Sooo..Yeah.

This might be a bit late, but I'm super glad all my family and friends in the Bountiful and Centerville area are well and safe.
That was quite the wind storm.
In some places it got to over 100mph!
I heard it looked like a war zone, I should have gone and seen for myself.
Too bad my life is consumed by work..kinda.
Plus I live in Utah County now...Come on!

Alrighty, I think that is all I really had to say tonight!
5 months. Wow.
I love it :)

Disneyland.

On Sunday we left for Disneyland!
Those Aussies that we went to dinner with a couple weeks back were there before they head back for Australia and they invited us to come.
So Sunday morning flights looked good and we were headed to LAX.
It was weird being there. Last time I was in LAX I was heading to Australia and coming home of course.
It was crazy!! I could totally remember being there waiting for my plane and going through the security line....
Anyway, if you have never been to Disneyland around Christmas time, you should.
It's already the happiest place on earth, but to be there when its the happiest time of the year is AMAZING.
It was so fun to be there with Husband, we had so much fun.
We went on every ride...that is worth going on.
I'm so glad I married someone that loves rides and rollercoasters as much as I do. It would have been not as much fun if i had to go on the rides by myself..
He also got me one of those pickles, ya know Disneyland pickles...That are soooo YUMMY!!!
He is so good to me.
We even got to see Disney's Christmas parade!
Can I just say it, Disneyland does parades the BEST. Don't believe, check it out.
It was such a great opportunity for husband and I. We are so thankful that we were able to get the flights and be able to spend the last few days with the Williams, while they were here.
Also we put up our Christmas Tree.
Thats right..Our CHRISTMAS Tree, not holiday tree. I don't even know what that is.
Besides stupid.

Green cones that my friend Jacqueline and I had fun with when we were there for Nationals!

DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!

Cute husband, about to go into the Bug's Life movies.

Disneyland Decked out for Christmas, it is even better at night!

Delicious Disneyland pickle...mm...

Princess Castle

Main Street, Disneyland!

It is silver, it looks white, but it's silver.
I love it!

I hope everyone's December and Holiday seasons are going wonderfully.

Night Out.

Now that I have Monday's off with my new schedule I was actually able to be home for Family Home Evening!  So, to make it extra special we decided for FHE last night that we were going to go to Temple Square lights! One of my most favorite things to do during the holiday season!
It was more of Husbands idea, he knows how much I love that place.
It is so weird, last year I went with my good friend Gabi and we had this huge conversation about Anthony, who would be coming home from his mission in a month.
Now this year I got to go with Anthony and he is my husband...Just crazy, but oh so perfect!
Anyway back to FHE, as part of it we took the Trax there from the Sandy Civic Center. It was pretty fun.
Creed took a girl named Ally and it was her first time on Trax and she was having a ball and then Anthony's sister, Aubrey came with us.

When we first arrived at Temple Square we got some hot chocolate, yummy. Then made our way to see the lights and things. Well, I was. Husband was more of looking out for sister missionaries with Australian flag tags below their badges and believe me when they found them Creed and him talked and talked and talked....and talked.
The lights are SO beautiful! My favorite is the reflections pool with the floating candles.
We went up there and to the exact spot that Husband proposed at, precious right?
We may have even re-enacted it, a lil bit...Don't judge.
After the lights we took the trax back to our car, but we didn't get back in time to go to Outback Steakhouse (mostly because of the talking) , so we went to Chili's...haha :)
We took pictures, but they are all on Creeds camera...Anyway,
It was so fun. I am so thankful to have such a beautiful place so close to us.
It is truly amazing.
I am also thankful that I was able to go with Husband.
It literally was a dream come true.

As for right now, I'm watching the Grinch with my Niece.
What a good way to start my day.
Don't you agree?

Tomorrow is the last day of November.
Time is just flying and I am getting worse at blogging.
I blame it on work.

Babies and Thanksgiving.

Husband and I got some news yesterday...
Can any of you guess what it might be?
........
Alright, I will just tell you.
We got a calling in our new ward.
We are Nursery Teachers or Workers or whatever.
Ask husband how he feels about it? Go ahead ask him.
I can tell you I am excited, because I love babies and little toddlers.
I have heard some horror stories from there, but I think you get those with any calling you are given, right?
My new work schedule makes me work on Sundays :( Believe me, I am NOT happy about it, but I think I have worked something out so that I can make it to church most of the time, I hope.
Even though this is going to be new to both of us, we are excited to have our first calling together and to receive the blessings, aaaaaand to see all those sweet babies:)
I was told a few times at work that they are just preparing us to have kids, but if you think about it....It could possibly scare us out of having them for a loooooong time. ha

Now, for Thanksgiving.
Husband and I went down to Kanosh.
Grandma and Grandpa B live down there.
All of his family came down to celebrate Thanksgiving and his grandparents 50th Wedding anniversary!
That's a pretty cool achievement, especially these days when the rate of divorce is pretty high.
It was so special to be able to be there and share that with them.
We had a family picture with everyone and it was awesome to see the whole group, kids, grand kids, great-grand kids, the whole lot of them. We were all there because of those two people. Including me in a way, because without them there wouldn't be Anthony.
I am so glad that there is, obviously.
I'm very thankful for family, my family and my new family.
I'm very thankful for Husband, he's quite precious.
I am thankful for my health and my job (even though I have to work on sundays)
I'm thankful for my knowledge of things on this Earth and Eternal Families.
There is so much to be thankful for and  I am.
I'm very blessed and I'm very happy.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Husband and his Aussie fix

This last weekend Husband and I were able to go to Elder Watts homecoming.
It was a lot of fun and so good to meet quite a few of the people Husband was serving with while on his mission. I heard lot's of stories..bawahaha.. ;)
Husband had so much fun catching up with them all and reminiscent in some of the memories of Australia.
The homecoming was up in Logan as I previously mentioned and we went up Saturday afternoon and got a hotel and hung out with Elder Jones and a couple others.
It was nice to get away...again (even though it was just Logan)
After Elder Watts' homecoming and the little luncheon thing, we headed for home.
On the way home Husband said that it was probably Elder Elliots homecoming as well and he lives in Kaysville...Perfect! Since it is on our way home! So we stopped in at his house, we times it perfectly they were all just coming home from Church. I was the first one Elder Elliot saw and you could tell he was confused, he had NO idea who I was. That's when Husband popped around the corner and Elder Elliot flipped with excitement..Literally, kinda...He jumped really high. :)
Elder Elliot is a missionary Husband trained out there in Australia.
It was precious to see how excited he was and Husband.

While on the subject of Australia, We were able to go to dinner and hang out with The Williams. They are from Australia and Luke Williams was one of Husbands ward mission leaders. Him and his wife are over here on holiday. We went to Temple Square and watch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice and then we went to Chili's and then we went to Wal-Mart. Luke's wife had never been there, but had heard about it so they wanted to go, plus they had to get another memory card for their camera.
Anyway, it was super fun and it was the first time Husband and I have been back to Temple Square since we got engaged..
Awwww!! I know, right?
It was a good night with Husband and the Williams
I hope Husband has had enough Aussie to get him through until we can actually get back over there.
Please bless.

Big shout out to my mom for work the last part of my shift so that I could go with Husband and the Williams.
Thanks Mommy Dearest!!

Well Folks, that's all for now until the Thanksgiving update.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Grinch Fix

I'm so excited for Thanksgiving.
I'm really excited to eat all that yummy food.
Thanksgiving is less than a week away and I have no idea where November has gone.
It has just flown by. Which is kind of sad.
I hope this whole holiday season doesn't just fly by, but we are one day closer to Temple Square lights!! I'm really excited for those.

This week has been pretty normal. Work, work and more work.
EXCEPT! Husband bought me The Grinch, because mine is at my parents. Isn't that so nice. I could watch that movie all day. No joke ask Husband.
Jim Carrey is a genius in his role as the Grinch.
I could probably say that is my favorite movie or at least in the top 3.
Since I can only watch it 2 months out of the year, I watch it as much as I possibly can and as much as husband will possibly let me.
Yesterday before leaving to work he said, "Babe, don't ware out the Grinch dvd, I want to watch it too."
haha...I might like it THAT much.

Last night, we watched it as well as Christmas Vacation with Chevvy Chase.
Husband had never seen it before so it was fun to watch that with him, it's pretty funny.

This weekend we are heading to Logan to go to Husband's last companion in the missions homecoming as well as hanging out with his trainer from his mission (Elder Jones) recognize that name? Yep thats right it is the same one that was with Husband when I met him in Australia.

Well, thats basically all for now.
I have to get my Grinch fix for the day..

Happy Weekend!!

Oklahoma.

This weekend we went to Oklahoma.
If you can't tell by the title of this post.

We flew into Oklahoma City and then we had a fun 2 1/1 hour drive to Altus Air Force Base, literally it was fun...look at the car we got. :)
(Brand new Dodge Charger)
We went out there to see Anthony's cousin who is a pilot in the Air Force.
He gave us an AWESOME tour of the base and got us to see simulators and on an actual C-17. We got to go inside and sit in the cockpit and everything and open the back loading ramp, It was really so cool.
Even though those planes make my sweet Air Buses look like little itty bitty guys.

We also made a goal, that wherever we go we are going to go see the nearest temple.
so, we went to the Oklahoma City Temple on our way back to the Airport.
It's SO SMALL, but pretty.

With all that we saw this weekend we have a lot of thinking, praying, and pondering.
But it was a great experience.
We can't wait for our next trip!!

News And Things.

Today is the 9th and we ALL know that means, right?
It means I have to announce that husband and I have been married for FOUR months...or 16 weeks. Today I reminded him of one of his letters he sent me that said "only 16 more weeks left until I come home."
Now we're married, precious!
Anyway, if things go well we are off on and adventure this weekend.
Let's hope we can make it.

I have a confession for the week.
I have already started listening to Christmas music.
I'm not ashamed, it's lovely and makes me so excited for the holiday season to begin.
but no worries I will not decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but watching The Grinch and listening to Christmas music is more than allowed in my book.

Alright down to business.
The pictures below, yes..I actually have pictures!
They are of some things from my job.
In the first picture that is me getting ready to push back the plane, it saves fuel, or something.
Anyway, it is scary, but so cool at the same time.
You push it all the way back and then you have to turn it.
Sounds easy right, WRONG! It is a lot more difficult that it sounds or even looks.
Plus, you have to keep in mind that it is only a multi-million dollar aircraft with 168+ lives in my hands.
It's pretty serious. ha.
They tell me it is really fun today in the snow and ice.
I think they might be pulling my leg.. hmm..

The other ones are just views from the pit, thats where we put the bags under the plane, things look smaller from up there, but don't let the pictures fool you, those engines are big. I could stand up in them. COULD, never have, mostly cause I can't and would get in a LOT of trouble. ha.

Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures and some little adventures of working for the airlines.

Stop in again!

Bye.

Getting ready to push back the plane.

Waiting in the pit under the plane for more bags.

My view from the pit, you should see the city at night from here, it's pretty cool!

Umm, The engine, don't worry it's giant.

That's what the push back vehicle looks like...

Happy Halloween...Oh Wait.

November.
Where did November come from? Where did October go?
I'm getting a little confused with how fast time is moving.
I wish I had a fun Halloween post to put on here, but I had to work, go figure. Right?
Can I just say I am so glad winter didn't start in October (knock on wood). It does that sometimes and it is way too early, plus it ruins trick-or-treating for all those little kids.
Anyway, I hope winter can hold off a little bit longer. Although, we are getting some scares here. I'm not ready for snow, the driving in it, WORKING in it. Boo.
I am excited for November it begins the "Holiday Season", you know that fun special feeling you get. I love that and you start to see lights go up and the Christmas movies..
The Grinch!!!
I asked husband if we could watch it last night, but I was reminded it is still at my parents house, Boo!
I am also excited for Temple Square!
I talked to my friend Gabi about this the other day, we went last year together and talked about that missionary that was coming home (Husband)...Crazy :)
I am excited to get to go with Husband this year, it will be so precious!
Lots of first for us this year and believe me I am going to blog about ALL of them.

Also, Husband and Creed are going to be participating in No-Shave November.
Oh boy, Husband is going to have some scruffles!
Don't tell him, but I am kind of excited to see it, I already love his little scruffles on his chin :)
Everyone be prepared! They're gonna get hairy!
It's only day 4.

Last night, Husband made me a smoothie, isn't that so sweet?
It was so yummy :)
AND we snuggled!
Did I mention we have the WHOLE weekend to ourselves?
We do, except Sunday, I have to work. Lame.

We have been in our new place for a month now and it is GRAND!
It getting to be so darling.
I think husband thinks it is getting to be a little much, but it's ok. It looks good:)
I never thought I would live in Utah County, but here I am in good ole' Utah County!

Well, I think that is about all we have going on that is new with the Carltons!

Over and out

My Birthday Boy!

Guess what today is?
Husband's birthday!!!
He is 22. Good heck!..jk. That's still so young!
So as you can already guess, this post is just for him.

Dear Sweetest Husband,

You are just so darn precious and cute.
I love your face and all of you, of course.
You are so hard working and take such good care of me.
You're always there for me and support me.
I adore you with all of my heart.
There is not one thing I would change about you, so please don't ever, ever, ever change.
I am so excited for our adventure together.
I am also really glad I don't have to send your present to Australia this year :)
You're amazing.
I could break out in song for you, but I won't.
Just know that I love you and only you.
I am the luckiest girl alive to be your wife. Seriously.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I love you, Boo. Always!

Love,
Wife :)

Just so you all know it took me forever to get husband to admit it was his birthday..actually to even admit he had a birthday. Stubborn bum, but it's ok it looks really cute in the jeans he wore today :)
He is probably going to read that and give me a "look".
Or..he might just do this chuckle I just love.
Anyway, Husbands birthday might not mean a lot to him, but it means a lot to me. I tried to make it special for him and make him feel like the birthday boy, I hope it worked.
He is super special to me. It just makes sense right?

Past Couple Days.

I'm officially no good at blogging.
Darn.
The last couple days have been pretty rough for me.
Something at work happened that really upset me. REALLY upset me.
Ask Husband or even Creed...
Even though Husband is away deer hunting he has been there for me and knows just what to say to make me smile, even though he may not know it. He's so sweet!
He says he is coming home tonight, too bad for me I have to work the RON at work and won't get home till 2am, IF the plane is on time...

Also, in the past couple days I have noticed the smell of jet fuel..like when I start my truck...
I knew it, my truck is a transformer! ;)
But still the joys of working at the airport, fresh smell of jet fuel in the air.
Yesterday, this lady at work was talking to this guy at my work (sorry I don't want to use names) Anyway, they were talking about their phones, they both have androids or droids..
Well the guy was like "I have an android" and the lady was like "oh..Mine is a droid."
The guy started laughing and said "They are the same thing..that's just like saying Frontier doesn't fly planes they fly AIRplanes hahahaha"
It was quite funny, maybe you had to be there. Probably.

Also, on the subject of planes or airplanes..
I suggested to Husband that when he is a pilot he should fly for Frontier so that when I pull the pin out and show it to him from the tarmac instead of saluting him and can just blow him a kiss :)
I don't think he was really into the idea.
He would have to use "That's my wife" a lot... haha

Well, That's all I got. I'm tired.

Point Made.

Guess what today is for me?
A day off!
It's so weird, I don't even know what to do with myself.
I plan to clean the bathroom and do some laundry, but let's get real that stuff doesn't take all day or even close really. Hmmm...
What to do? What to do?
Well, while I figure out my day. I was going to share this story, but I can't find the link anymore, but it was an awesome moral story and made an excellent point.
I'll keep trying to find it, or if any of you know where I might find it please let me know, but I might just summarize it a bit for ya, but still be on the look out!

This story is about abortion...
There is a woman that just had a baby and she finds out that she is pregnant with her second, just a few weeks after giving birth to her first.
She decides that she doesn't want kids that close together and goes to her doctor and tells him that she would like an abortion. This doctor does not support abortion and decides to make a point to this lady. He says..

"Well, I have a better option. An option that is more safer for you."
The lady is relieved and wants to hear this idea.
He continues.

"Instead of aborting the baby, why don't you just euthanize your first born, the one you're holding in your arms? That way you can get some rest before this next baby is born and you still only have one child when it's all done. It is less risk for you."

The lady replies,
"No! That would be killing my baby! I can't kill my baby!"
She says stuff like that and freaks out for a minute...and then realizes the point the doctor was trying to make..

The doctor realizes he made his point and told  her that there really is no difference. If you're willing to give up that baby, why not the other one? ...

You really need to read the whole story, it makes such a great point! So if you can't tell I am against abortion!  I am Pro-life! I am also Pro-choice (to a point) if the choice only has to do with yourself. Abortion doesn't count, that little baby doesn't have a say, it doesn't have a voice. Besides MOST of the reasons people have them, want them are not an excuse. Besides that it's selfish. Anyway there is my little rant about abortion...

Well, off to Wal-Mart!

Weekly Confession.

This is so bad. Not blogging for over a week kills me.
You want to know what is even worse?
Not having anything to blog about...
I am pretty sure the last three weeks I have lived at the airport.
Working RON's (remain over night plane)
But there is some good news they gave me a new schedule for the next few months.
I could not be more happy, I get to see husband more!
It also puts me only working ONE RON instead of five RON's..

Our new home is getting put together very nicely..We are just missing a few things and I will be able to post pictures. You know once Husband and I get a camera, his camera went through the wash and mine...Well, I broke mine getting on the metro (subway) in France. Smooth move I know.

We are also got a membership to Costco, and it is GREAT!
I love that place. The stuff we use a lot we just buy there and then don't have to buy it again for a long time, ya know...it is just the two of us and Creed.
You can get like a 12 pack of 5 Gum for $6. Holla!!
SOLD!

Also, I am going through a little phase. I have been told it's normal and I have been told I am just crazy. Which ever it is, doesn't matter. It's what I am.
I might be just a little baby hungry. Shhh..
Don't worry, people we will not be having one anytime soon. That's our plans anyway.
No babies for a while.
I just see them and want one. They are just so darn cute.
So if any of you want to have one and let me play with it all the time that would be greatly appreciated!
Everytime I see them, besides wanting it. It makes me super excited to be a mom one day.
and super excited to see Husband as a dad..Awwww!
It just warms my heart to think about.

Anyway, there is my confession for the week.
What's yours?

Bubble Guppies

This whole morning I have watched Bubble Guppies on Nick Jr.
Trust me, this is a rare occurrence.
But a very special one. It means I am spending my whole morning with my sweet baby niece...Who is no longer a baby. She is 3 1/2.
Isn't that crazy?
Anyway, I have not seen this little girl for probably a month now and I was more than happy to watch her for my sister!
We are snuggled up in a blanket watching Bubble Guppies and eating dried apples and cookie crisp. Don't judge. She likes it.

Update with Husband and I..Work, work, work...and ya know maybe some snugglin'. :)

Fitting In.

Today is the 9th.
We all know what that means!
Husband and I have been married for 3 months!
Yes, every month on the 9th you will probably see posts like this.
Well only for our first year, then I will probably cut it down to every year on our anniversary...

Anyway, today was our first day at our new ward.
Our landlords told us we were going to love it, because there are so many young couples in the ward, but she also forgot to mention that every single young couple had a couple kids with one on the way, no joke. Our new ward is kid central, so much for fitting in right? haha
I guess we will fit in a few years..maybe.

Well, I'm hungry. Lunch time.

Sometimes...There Are HR's

I just want to share what I have to do at my job, quite frequently actually.
This last week it happened twice and the week before that...it happened twice.
It's kind of creepy, but kind of cool at the same time, depending on how you think about it.
You want to know what I have to put on an airplane on a weekly basis?
HR's or Human Remains...
No joke, we go and pick them up from cargo and bring them to our plane or sometimes they come in on our plane and we have to get them out of the pit, which can a be a real challenge sometimes.
Well, the first HR we had to get this week they sent my mommy dearest and I.
We took pictures.
ENJOY!

It is just sitting there when we pull up.

I get to drive it in that cart..

Just waiting for the plane to upload this..person.

and we get to move cute puppies too. I love them.

October Who?

Welcome October!
Though I was sad to see summer go, I am excited for October!
It brings Halloween! The beautiful fall colors!
It also means it is almost time that I can start watching The Grinch, again!
The 13 days of Halloween on ABCfamily!
and best of all Husbands Birthday!
He turns 22, is that weird?
I think it kind of is, last year on his birthday I was sending him a birthday package to Australia!
Weird, don't say it's not...it is.

We got all moved in yesterday and it is glorious!
It is awesome to be out of everyone's way and house's and to be in our very own space.
I would post pictures, but things are still a bit unorganized and I still have some decor stuff at my mom's house, but no worries I will reveal our new little place we will be calling home for at least the next year very soon!

This weekend was conference and it is so fun to be able to have spiritual enlightenment in my comfy clothes and snuggled up to husband!
It was funny to see how many comments were made by the speakers that made us laugh.
It definitely helped to keep my attention. I get bored very easily and it is unfortunate...usually.
I am sad to see the weekend come to end. It means back to work for husband and I.
Back to another week of not seeing each other a lot. Boo!
I love my weekends with husband, they are like a little treasure.

I also have a funny little story.
Well, since it is Sunday..there is football and we watch it.
Today, the players in the NFL are wearing pink cleats and towels and other little accessories.
Aaron one of Husband's friends ask "Why are they all wearing pink?"
Husband replied "It's for breast awareness."
hahaha..I laughed pretty hard.
We all knew he meant for breast CANCER awareness, but just breast awareness works too, I guess.
Love you Husband :)

Denver, Husband, Moving.

Where did I leave off...
Oh yes, Denver.
As some of you may know, I got a new job with Frontier Airlines and they sent me for a week of training in Denver. It was probably one of the longest weeks of my life.
I missed Husband so much.
Also while I was over there I got a terrible cold.
The whole sinus, stuffy, runny nose, sore throat, chills and body aches.
Working on the ramp in 85 degree weather with that was a nightmare. Yuck!
On my plane ride home with all the gunk in my nasal passages and ears, my ears ruptured or at least got really, really close. It was so painful. SO PAINFUL.
Also, while we were training at the Denver International Airport they took us to the tower and we could see over the entire airport and see all of Frontier's terminal. It was so awesome!
Well that is basically all for my training..

DIA- Small part of Frontiers terminal

So, when I got home Husband was waiting patiently for me at the pick up area. You have no idea how happy I was to see him. I just adore him.
I still felt like a sicky wife and my ears hurt.
Husband took such good care of me . I wasn't hungry at all, you know how you lose your appetite when you are sick, but he got me ice cream! I originally thought we were going back to his sister's house, but when we pulled out of the ice cream place, he pulled into a hotel!
I was so confused and kept asking why we were here. I know dumb question right?
Since being away from each other for a week, he thought it would be good to just have some us time, since it is hard being at his sister house for the last couple of weeks.
When I walked into the rook there were flowers laying on the bed and one of my favorite perfumes.
Isn't Husband precious?
He was just adorable. I didn't feel good so he just let me snuggle next to him and let me sleep on his chest, my favorite little nook!
He also told me I said some pretty weird stuff. Liiiiike..
I asked where the plane was and such.
Anyway..Thanks Husband, you really are the best and I love you!
I am also super sorry you caught my sicky.

They were waiting for me.. Cute.

Beyonce's Heat- Smells good.

I love Husband.

Other news is..We are moving tomorrow! Yahoo. We will finally have our own place.
Plus, the last few weeks have been crazy and lots of driving and working until 12:30 AM. We have been going back and forth between Fairview and Orem. We were at my parents, but a series of unfortunate events happened and it didn't really work out so here we are living out of suitcases and waiting anxiously to move into our new place!

Well, I think that is about it with the quick updates and what we have been up to..

Blur.

Oh my goodness!
The last couple of weeks have gone by so fast. It really has been a blur.
There has been a lot going on.
Working probably has been the biggest thing for both Husband and I.
Work, work, work.
Trying to spend some time together.
It has been a bit difficult lately, but hey. I guess that is part of the first years of marriage. Work your brains out until you can get somewhere or more like while you're getting somewhere.
I am blessed to have Husband, I adore him so much and he is so supportive.
The shifts I work right now are tough on me and I think maybe him, we don't see each other a lot, but he still loves me! haha :) Love you, Boo.
We are moving this weekend and hopefully I will be able to gather some time to give a real update of everything and tell you how things are going with the new job, our new place, new plans-ish, and other things.
I can't believe October is just around the corner.
Where did September go?
Anyway, stay tuned!

Denver.

It is only Tuesday.
I still have three more days here..well three and half.
and three more nights away from Husband.
Boo!
I just miss him so stinkin' much.
I miss my nook.
Anyway, I made it to Denver, if you didn't already gather that information.
I'm here. Joy.
My flight here consister of 88 obnoxious junior high school children and 20 brand spankin' new missionaries. They were just about scared of everything. The missionary sitting next to me fell asleep hugging his teddy bear...haha. What a girl.
I was literally surrounded by them. Some guy walked by and pointed at me and said "how did you get so lucky to be sitting by all these good men?"
(Men? Puh-lease.)
"You should get their address' and write one of them, by the time they get back you will be old enough to get married."

I said, "I'm already married."

He didn't believe me and said, "you can't be older than 16 or 17."

"I am actually 21."

That went on for a minute more, then take-off and landing and children yelling their conversations. It was so fun.
First day of class, they basically began to tell us that we have the most dangerous job working in the airline industry, don't get sucked into the propeller engines or have a piece of debris picked up and shot at you.
Cool. Thanks.
Now it is the second day of training and guess what tomorrow is..the third. Good job.
Anyway, I miss Husband. I do, I do.
He is so precious and I can not wait until Friday when I get to see him! Yay!!!
I have a huge hotel room all to myself.. (hint, hint husband.)

I must be off.
Bye.

Another First.

We literally have no plans for this weekend.
For about the first time in the history of our marriage. Who knows, maybe even our relationship. Maybe.
I did say I was going to blog about our "firsts" so..There ya go.
Anyway, it is extremely weird to not know what we will be doing this weekend, if anything.
I'm sure we will watch all the football going on!
Wait...Yeah I just reviewed and confirmed that with myself, we will be watching football.
What else? Who knows.
I hope we do something since I leave for a week on Monday!
Which I am getting more nervous about.

I really have nothing to blog about either.
I probably shouldn't be...my blog may be getting boring. Oh darn!
Sorry folks.
I really need to do laundry and decide what to make for dinner.
hmm...

I guess I could tell you that I am still bald.
We got a couch and a TV yesterday, we're pretty excited about our purchase. It was such an adult decision. We are so married, it's ridiculous.
I love it.

Happy Weekend!

My Hurr.

My hurr or my hair...Sometimes I'm gangster.
But not really.
Well...I did not cut my hair off..yet.
but I did cut it, I guess more like trim it, but i got like 3 inches cut off and 4 inches off the layers! When you have long hair 3 and 4 inches are a lot!
My hair feels so short...I don't know if I can cut it off...
Hmmm.. I guess we shall see. In a while, that is.
I already feel bald.
But my hair now feels so good that all the dead and dry stuff got cut off, plus some. I guess it's alright.
Well, until next time.

Baldy out.

Airport(s).

The past 2 days have been nothing but airports for me.
On Monday is when I went to Denver for my orientation.
I got into Denver at 8:30am and left at 3:00pm.
It was super fun...Really it was.
I love airports. I can be entertained all day by people watching.
It's a great past time.
Anyway, at the orientation they briefed us on the company, and about all of our benefits..you know health, vision, dental, and the best..FLYING benefits!
I'm so excited about that.
So is husband.
Watch out world, here come the Carltons!
We also got finger printed and had to take a drug test, fun stuff right there. I was also the only one there that was going to be doing ramp, everyone else is doing customer service, but in Salt Lake all agents have to be cross-trained, so I will be doing customer service eventually.

I'm excited about ramp, I hear it is an awesome work out!
I can get my muscles going again.

Yesterday..or Tuesday.
I was at the SLC Airport all day doing some online training.
it was a fun 7 hours of sitting on the computer and reading and then taking tests.

On Monday I leave for Denver for a week to get my initial ramp training so I can actually start doing the fun stuff! I'm excited and so nervous and sad to be leaving husband for a WEEK!
That is a long time people.
One of his good friends comes home from their mission next week, so he probably won't miss me too much..haha
Plus, he has Creed..They can play PS3 or something.
Meh! :(

OH! We also found an apartment, an awesome apartment!
Hopefully we can move in around October 1st.
Speaking of October, Husband's birthday is next month. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good gift for husband?

Never Forget.

It's the anniversary of 9/11..
I do like to point out the obvious sometimes.
It is a day that has gone down in history.
A day that has changed our lives as citizens of this country.
It was a tragic day. Many lost lives.
It brought fear to Americans, but we never lost hope.
We all became stronger and stand more together.
It is a day that should not be forgotten and will not be forgotten.
We won't forget what happened.
We won't forget the feelings.
We won't forget the people, the heroes.

With that being said..
I also don't think as we remember this day that we should get stuck on the images of the planes hitting the towers, or of the towers collapsing.
Don't dwell on the hate.
That is what they want. They want us to fall apart and remember what they did to our country.
That they attacked us.
They should know, they can't win.
It should now be a day of remembrance for the people
and a day that we did not fall apart.
A day we stood strong and have become stronger.

I don't want this to come across rude.
On this day I hear a lot of "I can't believe they did that." or "I can't believe it happened."
or even a lot of hate. Even toward our own country.
It happened.
It's not a happy day, at all.
It's tragic, sad, depressing.
But remember we didn't fall. We're still here.
We're still fighting.
Remember the people, all the people.
Who fought and are still fighting
Celebrate for our country.

I love this country, not so much the people running it, but I do love this country.
The freedoms we enjoy are such a blessing.
We will never forget what happened.
We can't.
U.S.A!

Also, A little shout out to my Aunt Luci!
Happy Birthday!!!

This Morning Mind.

Hello Friday!
I would say this week went fast, thank heavens!
I still have to get through work today, before I get to see husband.
But it's ok! I'm just excited.

Yesterday, I got this awesome curling iron. I can't even explain it, besides the fact that it is lime green! It's alot better for your hair, because it doesn't have hot metal in it and it curls the hair in like 3 seconds and it is suppose to hold for three days...Which I probably won't test out, but I might. Don't judge me.
It's pretty cool is all I got to say.

Oh and I would also like to announce that I am officially a Carlton as of last Friday. I was so surprised how easy it was to change my name.
So goodbye Desiree Stephens and Hello Desiree Carlton!
I even got my new drivers license the other day. No more blonde hair picture.

My mind is all over the place this morning, not literally though. That would be gross.
Many things are racing through it like-
everything that kept me up last night.
How my shoulder blade feels like it is going to fall off.
There are 4 water bottles in our bedroom, right now. None of which are empty.
Wishing I had something cool to blog about.
hoping husband is safe, I haven't talked to him since 6am yesterday morning. Probably because of where they had to go get wood, they have no service.
Thinking about cutting my hair. Short, but I'm scared. Boo.
or Monday I go to Denver for my new job orientation.
I actually really can't think past Monday. It makes me so nervous. I just want to get there and back.
Just so many things...
hmmmm....

Happy Friday!
&
Happy 2 months to Husband and I!

Heart Rocks.

I have some great news!
I got a new/another job! I start on Monday..
Well, Monday is my orientation, but still. I start on Monday!
I'm so excited, but kind of nervous. REALLY nervous actually.
It is a great opportunity for Husband and I. Even if it is long hours and open EVERY DAY of the year, it will be worth it. We're both excited!
I guess I should probably let ya'll know what the job is huh?
I'll be working for Frontier Airlines at the Salt Lake International Airport!
Even though Husband and I will both be extremely busy with work and school we are hoping to take advantage of the flying benefits, especially since we don't have kids at the moment.
It would be awesome to get back to Australia, together.
To see his mission and to go back to where we first met. Literally, if we go back we are going back to Knox Shopping Center.
Anyway...We're are excited to say the least and I'm nervous. I have to go to Denver for the orientation and then I will do my training at Denver or some other airport that's not Salt Lake.

Also, Husband left this morning to go with his dad and some other guys to go get MORE wood for the winter only this time they are going up to Wyoming. Boo.
That means I'm by myself tonight. ALL night.
Our first night apart. How sad. I'll just miss him.
But it's ok..I know it could be worse.

Tomorrow is the 9th. Do you know what that means?
We have been married for two months! Holy cow!
Actually, it kinda seems like we have been married longer than that. Or maybe it just seems like 2 months isn't that long and I guess it isn't, but it is. Maybe?
I don't really know, but it's been awesome. I love him more than ever. Like that is possible right?
Well, it is.

I also have a story thing to share that I forgot to put on my last post that I meant to so here we go....
For FHE at his parents house, we talked about tradition, right?
Well, his mom handed out some things that she has kept forever that have special meaning and gave them to the kids. Like things that they may have gotten when they were younger or that they gave to her..stuff like that. Special stuff.
One tradition they have is collecting heart shaped rocks and she pulled out a bag of them and handed me a present wrapped box and said mine was in there.
When I opened it, it was the heart shaped rock that Anthony gave to me when we had just started dating...
I remember he found it and gave it to me and I just held it while we were out doing some yard work and such. He told me that I didn't have to keep it and could just put it down, but I said no, It's precious..Even though it was all muddy. (it was still winter)
When we went to go inside I set it down by the back door, because obviously it was all muddy. I meant to get it and clean it, but I never did.
I have thought about it before wondering what happened to it, stuff like that.
Well..now I know.
Anyway, it was just so precious. When Natalie gave it to me she asked Anthony "remember what happened the first time you gave a girl a heart shaped rock?".. "She threw it down and said "What am I suppose to do with this?""
Rude huh... That should have just been another reason why he should know that I am the one.
That girl is not smart and lost out the BEST guy ever.
Also Natalie put a quote with my rock that says
"Lucky is the girl whose husband gives her a heart-rock, for his love for her is set in stone."
It's true, I'm one lucky girl. I'm glad I kept that rock and have it back now.
It is so precious and so simple, it couldn't be better.
So girls..if your guy gives you a heart shaped rock. Hold it close. :)

Labor Day & Ridiculous-ness.

Labor Day Weekend.
Literally. We labored. Ok, and had some fun. Of course.
We went down to Fairview, again this weekend.
It was Husband's niece and Older sister (Abby's) birthday and party.
But, before the party we helped Husband's dad get wood, so they can start splitting it for the winter. Yes, they actually cut down HUGE trees and then we had to cut ALL the branches off, cut the trees into small pieces and loaded them into trucks. I think We cut down like 5 or 6 trees and that ended up being like 4 truck loads of fire wood. Fun stuff right there.
I think every night we were down there Husband and I sat on their porch swing and just sat in peace and quiet. Had good little conversations about how our plans and direction is becoming more clear and of course maybe a couple of worries we had.
Sunday was...well Sunday.
We went to Church, had dinner and one, big Family Home Evening.
At dinner, Natalie had these tiles..one for every person with sayings like..
"Say 2 nice things about the person on your left/right."
"Name one new thing you learned today."
Stuff like that and we had to go around and share..Which I think is incredibly awkward. It's fine though, because I got an easy one.. "Name 2 nice things about the person on your left." Guess who was on my left? Yep, Husband!
The hard part was only picking two.
For FHE we talked about tradition. How many of you just thought of Fiddler on the Roof?
Well, good..We watched the first part that sings "TRADITION!"
Monday, We went and picked corn and went to the Watts' house for Cinnamon rolls. Yum!
We left early Monday, so we wouldn't get stuck in all the coming home traffic and we didn't..it was great

Also, How many of you have seen the show "Ridiculous-ness"?
It is hilarious. Like some people really have NO common sense and do about the dumbest things.
It's good for a good laugh though.
We watched it for the first time last night and we didn't stop laughing once!
Which was good..We forced our selves to stay awake to stay up and watch it.
Worth it!
It was kind of, part of our family home evening.
We also got pizza...mmmm:)

Bittersweet September.

Happy September!
It's bittersweet. I don't want summer to leave.
I don't want to the hot sun to leave.
I'll miss the warm summer nights.
That's the bitter part. Clearly.
On the sweet side. We are moving forward!
Plans are becoming more clear.
The light at the end of the tunnel is getting just a little bit brighter!
Plus, Fall is beautiful here in Utah.
My last post, I was a bit down, a bit stressed.
Stress happens to everyone, but I have figured out that it does cause some non necessary pain. That you can't let  get you down. You have to be proactive!
and I have and I'm all good:)

Yesterday, I witnessed a guy buy cigarettes with food stamps.
I was irritated. I can guarantee he buys beer with them as well.
Seriously dude, get a job. Stop smoking and don't be drunk 24-7.
Not only are our taxes paying for his bad habits, but they will also being paying for his medical bills when his liver or heart fails or he gets lung, mouth, or throat cancer.
Our government really needs to think about things.
Ew...

Anyway! Happy September!
I hope everyone has fun plans for this weekend!

Stress.

Last night...Oh last night.
Let's just say it wasn't good, it was rough.
Stress, it's an awful thing.
It attacked me last night, but I'm ok now.
You want to know why? Husband. That's why.
He told me so. I believe him. I trust him.
Husband doesn't lie.
I'm ok. I'm better than ok.
I'm great! I'm happy and I'm smiling!
I'm alive, I'm married to the best husband, our future is bright.
We can see the light..in the distance. Closer would be nice.
The adventure will be fun though. It WILL.
This morning I was thankful for being here another day, that wasn't promised.
Another day with husband.
That's something that is probably not thought about a lot.
I love my life. It is the best it has ever been.
That little stress thing can go to...well you know.
You can't have a testimony without tests...
Today is a good day!
All is well here!

Philippians 4:13 was very helpful.

Also Alma 26:12, so good!

My Monday, Stupid, No Help Conversations.

I have a funny story for all of you.
Yesterday, I called a college to get information on it for husband.
You know price, classes offered, time, etc.
Well, the guy that is "helping" me is not very intelligent. At all.
So he first asks me for my questions..and I ask.
To say that least, he wasn't very helpful. He kind of beat around the bush.
He wouldn't give me straight answers. I was annoyed.
Then he asks if he can ask me questions about my husband and such.
I think it was more to show that they are friendly, that's about it.
Probably to be creepers as well.
Anyway....this is how it goes..

Guy: When did your husband graduate?
Me: 2007, then he went and got his private pilots license and served a mission.
Guy: Oh, he is in the military?
Me: Uh, No..He served an LDS Mission
Guy: Ohhh, for like the Air Force or something?
Me: It's like a religious service mission.
Guy: Ohhhhhh!! He was a missionary!
Me: (This guy is a smart one) Yep!
Guy: Alright, Desiree, When did your husband serve his mission?
Me: from January 2009 to January 2011.
Guy: WHAT? They go for that long, that is a long time.
Me: Yep, 2 years.
Guy: Well, What does he do for work right now?
Me: He works excavating, digging, construction stuff.
Guy: Oh that's cool..So he like digs for bones and stuff..like an archaeologist?
Me: (voice of "is this guy serious") uhhh, no. Like he lays pipe and roads and stuff.
Guy: I was way off.
Me: Yes, you were.

Yes..The entire conversation was that stupid.
Plus, he was no help.
Which equals out to be a huge waste of my time.

For the rest of my Monday. It was pretty good.
Husband got off work early, because, it was too wet to work from all the previous rain and thunderstorms the past couple of days.
So thank you rain!
I love me some Husband.
Anyway, we went to RCWilley and Creed got a PS3.
Needless to say I know where husband and Creed will be tonight.
Then we went to Wal-mart and got dinner stuff so I could make this new recipe I wanted to try. Oven-baked chicken chimichangas
You want to know how they turned out?
DELICIOUS!
Even ask husband, he said, "Babe..add these to the favorites list."
Yes, he has a favorites list.
Then we watched Goldmember with pretzel M&Ms and Starbursts..mmmmm!
Also, It was so weird Husband, Creed and I kept Sneezing all day. Kaaa...KAAA!
:)

Even though I felt less intelligent after that phone conversation I had. I still had a fabulous Monday with Husband!

Identical.

This weekend was basically identical to last.
We went to Fairview on Friday night and went boating on Saturday.
There were some differences though...liiiiike...
We had WAY more people come with us and we got to stay out on the "lake" a little bit longer, or more like a lot longer. I put "lake" like that because, it was more like a puddle. It was great to catch some Sun.
I don't know how many of you know this, but I'm a sun girl. I love the sun and I love the heat. I'm not too excited about summer coming to an end...Especially since it seems like Utah has been having 9 months of winter. I do love snow. Especially on Christmas, but 9 months is too much of it.
Anyway, We went boating all day and went tubing..again I'm sorry I didn't get pictures, but take my word for it Husband looks oh so cute wakeboarding. Seriously, he's a hottie.
He got some pretty awesome tan lines as well.
It was so fun to be with everyone, literally everyone. It was a relaxing, good, fun weekend. I didn't want it to end.
Friday and Saturday night were those warm summer nights and Husband and I went out on the porch swing and just sat and chit chatted a bit, Usually the family cam out a little bit later and we would have some good conversation.
Anyway, to say the least Husband and I had a very good weekend.

Surprise Me.

I love surprises. Usually.
Ok. I love good, fun surprises. That's better.
This week has been full of them. There are still 3 more days left of this week.
I guess depending on how you count the days.
Anyway....

The first surprise was when I was cleaning (attempting) my purse out and I came across $20! I know not a ton of money, but hey...being married now I have learned to make $20 go a long way!

The second surprise this week was when I found my OLD wallet. The one that I had while I was in Australia. I think that anyone who reads this blog should know that Australia is near and dear to my heart and Husbands, weird. We're so similar, so much in common ;) I found it and began to go through it. Do you want to know what I found. My boarding passes to and from Australia, my train ticket in Melbourne and the best thing...The pass along card Husband and his companion (Elder Jones) gave to me when we met at the mall in Melbs! I was so excited!

Pass along card from Elder Carlton & Elder Jones

They gave me their number, but only for giving them names of people they could visit.

The third surprise for this week..which you might have already seen, I posted about it on my other blog, but one of my best friends, Elicia. Who took our engagements also took my bridals and since I didn't get my dress until the day before the wedding, we took them after..like a week after. She just got done with a few of them, but no worries there are more to come...but yeah! I was excited for the sneek peek!

Also, I have started up my other blog again. I am doing this day challenge thing on there that I have seen several other bloggers do and it looks like fun, plus it will be great to look back on and to remember certain things about how I thought, knew, liked, disliked, etc. If you want to follow along, please do :) Day 1 is today!

Sweet Things

Do all of you want to know how sweet Husband is?
If you don't then you should probably stop reading this now!
Because...I am going to be telling you.

Well, I hardly ever fall asleep before husband. I won't say go to bed before husband. I never intentionally would go to bed before him, but there have been two time that I have fallen asleep before him.
BOTH times he has put me to bed. Isn't that sweet?
Don't say it's not, it is.

The first time I fell asleep in the family room. We were watching a movie or something...I don't know. I will usually fall asleep during movies, but will always get up when it's over. My eyes just pop open the second it's over, basically.
Anyway...This time was different. I didn't. Husband tried to wake me up, but apparently I didn't care. Just so you know I don't remember any of this...
So he attempted to carry me to bed the best he could, I guess I was being a pill. Sorry babe! When he finally got me to bed, he got me ready for bed, then tucked me in and ALL!
Sweet huh?

The second time, we were both already in bed, but he still got me ready for bed and tucked me in..again. What a precious husband I have. He tells me I am a pain trying to get ready for bed. Oops!

In other news...
We went to the Temple again last night..or last evening. It was wonderful!
If anyone ever wants to go with us, we go once a week. Usually to Bountiful, but we would love to go to other ones. Just let us know!

For a Little Enlightenment..

Weekend...Again.

It's a new week. Happy Monday!
Husband and I had a great, fun-filled weekend down in Sanpete County.
Well..and Utah County.
Friday night we went to dinner with his cousin Lu and Colton.
Lu, is the one who did our flowers at our wedding that looked so amazing and beautiful!
If you didn't come, then you missed out, because the pictures don't do the flowers and decor justice. They were just the best!
Anyway...We went to the Pizza Factory and had those yummy twisty bread stick, things.
and pizza..duh.
After dinner we headed to Fairview. We went down there to help hold down the fort while Natalie and Jason were away for their anniversary, but they ended up coming home a day early and took us all boating! I can't even begin to explain how much I love boating, It was so fun and a great surprise!
This was Husband's first time going since being home from his mission and he had so much fun wakeboarding. What a cute husband.
After the small boating adventure they decided to leave again. Husband and I decided to order pizza and rent a movie for Lexi and Livi...and us, but shhhh!
We rented Rio and it was such a cute movie, plus it gave us a good laugh.
On Sunday we had to make sure everyone got up and made it to church. We also got everything ready for lunch. We made Cafe Rio's sweet pork stuff, but only with chicken. It is soooo yummy!
After Church, lunch, and clean up we watched Rio one more time and took our usual Sunday nap, love them naps!
After the naps, we packed up and headed back to Bountiful. I would say home, but I have realized that husband and I call both places home. Such as on Friday night leaving American Fork, We said "let's head home" Which was Fairview and then leaving Fairview we said "Let's load up the truck and head home" haha... Which is awesome. It is good to have more than one home, more than one place to feel like you belong. Ya know. The whole homely feeling.
Alright..Anyway. We headed back to Bountiful, and got into so deep conversation and reminiscing on our weekend :) It was a fun drive back.
We got back in time to watch some football and a re-run of Americas Got Talent. Very entertaining.
Later, before bed time. Husband got a call from Australia, it was Luke- one of his old mission leaders..ya know from the mission!
Husband's little Aussie swag came out, it was so precious.
When Husband was telling Luke some things that he wanted him to bring over from Australia when they come over here in a couple months, Luke asked if there was anything I needed and I said nope and he said "She already got all she wanted from Australia, a husband!" haha
So true though. :)

Well Folks, that was our weekend...
I thought it was just fun enough to share on here.
aaaaaand..I did.
