Our May.

Since it is that last day in May, I figured I should probably do a little, tiny catch up with the blog.
2 weeks ago my in laws put together a little womens conference since we were not able to attend this year. It was so awesome to hear from Husband's grandma B and all his auntie's and of course his mom.
We learned a lot of little tips on quick clean-ups and how many things vinegar is good for...A whole lot.
We also learned about how some of them have not found a happy life, but have made it.
Also, to make sure that your marriage and family come first. Which we already know, but they gave us ways to be closer with your spouse and how to accept each other.
Every talk or "class" was filled with experience and knowledge.
I know that I am here on this earth because I chose it. I know the responsibilities of being a good wife and eventually a good mother.
I know I must support and love my husband with all that he does.
And I do.
I adore sweet husband and am so thankful he is as hardworking as he is.
He stays up so late to finish his homework and gets up early to work to support us.
and he still loves me and finds time to be with me.

Last weekend one of my best friends was married and sealed to her husband and I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid, She might not think it was so great now. I may have harassed her a tiny bit. She loved it though. Her sealing was beautiful and the whole time, the whole day I reflected on our sealing and kneeling across the alter from each other knowing we are eternal companions.
It was so precious.
As we were walking to go to the sealing we passed the fountain that Husband proposed at and I just wanted to stay there the whole day!
At the reception, they had a photo booth.
Husband and I had a pretty good set I'd say
see....

Well, I guess there was not too much to catch up on.
Mostly work and school and then some play...

My birthday is coming up and I am so excited to see what husband bought me.
He has been excited too.
There has been a couple times where he almost gave in and let me have my present early!
Well.. see you all in June.

Carlton's out.

Mommy Dearest.

My Mother's Day post is just a tiny bit.
I can just never seem to get around to doing it, but finally I have an extra minute.
Here it goes...

My mom is the greatest mom in the whole world.
She is always there for me when I need her and always supports me.
We always have the best talks.
She is always helping me out and she has no idea how much it is appreciated.
Especially with a crazy a work schedule and then a crazy at home schedule, she is always willing to help me out, so thanks Mommy Dearest!
We have an inside joke between is and the movie Mommy Dearest. If you have ever seen it, then you might think we are crazy, but don't worry she never beat me with a wire hanger. Even though I am sure growing up there were times that she wanted to.
My mom and I are pretty similar in personality so we don't always get along, but we usually do and we can have A LOT of fun, maybe almost too much.
Just ask my dad.
My mom always put my sister and I first and gave us the things we needed...and wanted.
I danced and tumbled because of her and she gave me the guts to be able to try out for varsity cheerleader in high school, which I can say right now definitely made my high school years as fun as they were.
Also, because of her flight benefits and support I was able to travel across the world to Australia and ...well, I think you know why that is so special.
I absolutely adore my mom and just love her so much and am glad that she is my Mommy Dearest.
Love you mommy.

My mother in law is pretty great too. I mean she has to be right? She raised a pretty good son I'd say.
Natalie has definitely been a good example of being a mom and keeping value in the home.
Hopefully she won't be too shocked if Husband and I have a little Hell Raiser...I am thinking there is a good chance that, that's what we will be getting.
Anyway, I am so glad that she taught and raised her kids (especially husband) in the church and that he had a wanting to go on a mission.
Without that, who knows where we might be.
Anyway, thanks Natalie for raising such a good guy.
We love you!

Diversion.

You want to know something that really makes my job exciting, but way more stressful?
Well, when you get told that there will be a plane diverting to Salt Lake City.
That happened on Tuesday.
The plane that diverted to SLC was on it's way Sacramento, but the cargo heat stopped working during the flight and they had 8 too cute puppies.
So they basically stopped in SLC dropped of the puppies and were on their way, so it definitely could have been worse or a lot more difficult, but we just got cute puppies.
I am trying to get the pictures off my phone, but it is not cooperating at the moment.
There were 3 English Bulldog puppies. (those were my favorite).
4 red poodles or also know as the teddy bear puppies, they look exactly like teddy bears.
and 1 white yorkie pup.
They were adorable.

Has anyone seen the previews for that new TV series on TLC, "On The Fly"?
It is going to be all about the days in lives of all us Airline Employees. Too bad they are not coming to SLC, they should. We're quite entertaining.
Anyway, it shows everything form passengers yelling at the customer service agents to what all the ramp does.
I'm pretty excited.
Hopefully some people will watch it and realize that the exact agent they are talking to did not mess anything up or it's not their fault.
and that 50 lbs is the limit for a bag and if you do go over that there is a fee. It's like that on EVERY airline. Yes, even for 1 lb over. Most of the time I see this is when the people are going to Mexico and both bags are over 50, like what are you seriously taking to Mexico. You need some clothes and swim suits. Done.
Also the people that buy a $1,000,000 stroller that weighs 800 lbs and they want to gate check it, well just so you know I am not going to be carrying that down the stair like you ask, I will be putting down the slide. There are $8 strollers at wal-mart that weigh like 2lbs, they are perfect for traveling and I am more that willing to carry those down the stairs.
Those are just a couple things to expect when flying with any airlines. When you scratch their back they will scratch yours. Trust me, it pays off to be nice.
Don't be some diva, expecting us to carry all your crap to the plane and give you the best seat. It doesn't work like that.

Alright, well...I am going to try and get those pictures of the sweet puppies. Hopefully they will be up later!

Ten and Stuff.

As of yesterday, May 9th Husband and I have been married 10 months!
I am one day late posting it, but it's not because I forgot, it's because Husband used the computer ALL DAY yesterday to do a lot of his homework.
So...It's alright. :)
In the next couple weeks one of my good friends Gabi gets married and then in a little over a month my brother -in-law, Austin gets married. How crazy!
Marriage is so fun and I love to see people getting married. I always think of our wedding day and how special it was.

Also, on May 7th was our Engagement-versary!
or one year since we got engaged!
I am so glad that husband like it enough to put a ring on it!

People are right when they say time flies.
It really does, but I am loving every second of it.
We have so many decisions to make here in the near future and I am pretty excited about it!

Well, not the most exciting post, but I like it.

Bye.

Opera.

I did not know Nicole Scherzinger had pipes like this. For those of you who don't know she is the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. I only thought she did pop, you know that whole "sing in a sexy voice" kind of pop, but dang...She is pretty good. Apparently she was originally trained in opera! How cool! I think she should do more. The best is the very end of the video when she just does the vocals! She also sings Ave Maria very well!

Pass Of All Passes.

Yesterday, I got the best little surprise.
Husband came home for lunch! It's hard for him to that because he only gets about 30 minutes, but he did and I was super happy!
Also, we have the Pass Of All Passes! This is a great purchase for anyone thinking about getting it. It's a season pass to Seven Peaks, unlimited use at Trafalga (the only thing it doesn't include it arcade tokens), and the Sandy Fun Center. Plus, You get into Blaze games, Orem Owls games and a $15 food card to use anywhere.
We got them for $29.95.
Regular price is $75.95..which is still a good deal, especially if you are actually going to use them.
Anyway, Last night Husband and I went to go do the batting cages, but they were full, but it's alright. We decided to play mini golf.
I won, by ten. I also got 3 hole-in-ones!
I'm sure it was just lucky. Usually by the end of mini golf I'm pretty frustrated.
Not the most exciting thing to post about, but hey I love every second I get with Husband and I think they are all worth posting about.
He is just so darn precious.
