What I Read Today....

Go to This Blog.

This family is from Australia.
I don't know them, but they are tough cookies.
Losing a child and a husband in 3 months time.

The mom is a true testimony of faith.
Knowing that we are only given trials that we can handle. She knows she is strong enough to handle what has happened to her beautiful family. She has the strength to smile through the pain and live for her other children. She knows she will be with her husband and son again.
She knows that families are forever.

I have been reading through her blog today. I am so thankful for the Temple and being able to be sealed to my beautifully, handsome husband and of course our future children.
I can't even imagine if it really was "until death do you part." Eternity is where it's at and I'm so excited I get eternity with him. He is amazing!

Loadmaster & A Little History.

Hello, Blogging World.
I'm still around.
I wasn't able to blog at all last week, because, I was at loadmaster training last week. On my days off, then I had to work. Another day, another dollar, right?

I am pretty excited to be a loadmaster.
The loadmaster is the person that is basically in charge of everything below wing.
They decide how the plane is loaded.
Now, you might think that this is easy just put the bags in the plane, right?
Well..wrong. I mean it's not way difficult, but it is definitely not easy.
There is a bit of math involved.
You have to know how many people are on board and know about how many bags are being put under the plane and how much cargo we might be taking as well as how much fuel will be put on.
There are two pits. The forward pit has two bins and the aft pit has 3 bins.
each bin can only hold so much weight.
depending on how much below wing weight you have depends on how much weight can go in each pit.
It's kind of confusing to explain, but it's cool to be in charge.
I did my first loadmaster on Saturday and boy was it crazy!
I think I did pretty good for my first day as a loadmaster.
Also on friday they put me as a gate lead...ALL BY MYSELF.
It was scary!
But I did it!
I also pushed the plane out to de-ice all by myself...
You push the plane out and turn it and then you have to tow it backwards to the de-ice pad, in between trucks and other planes.

Anyway that is what is going on with work for me.
I know, you all probably don't care, but I was pretty proud of myself!

Alright, in other news....
Husband and I had some fun one year marks and such.

On January 26th, Husband had been home from his mission for ONE WHOLE YEAR!
(The 26th is also Australia Day.)
Today, is the one year anniversary of Husband and I being together! Precious!
Just one year ago we were just dating and now we are husband and wife.
It has been a pretty crazy year! It's been awesome and I have loved sharing it with my sweet husband!

Fortune Cookie.

Today, I was able to take my two youngest sister in laws out for their birthdays.
Alivia, 12 and Alexis, 10
One was back in November and the other was just less than a week ago.
I know, I'm terrible. I should keep up with the day.
Anyway, we had a lot of fun.
Now that Husband and I live up here and I am not going down there all the time I don't get to seem them near as much as I use to, so it was quite lovely to take them out.
I let them pick whatever place they wanted...
You want to know what they picked?
...........
Chuck-A-Rama.
So that's where we went, which actually worked out well, because, they both have such different likes with food it would have been hard picking a place that only serves one type of food.
Plus, they can have dessert first here and as much as they want of it or whatever they want really.

These two girls are funny. They have some pretty great stories. The things that they think are funny is what I think is funny. They really are just so cute and I love being able to be their sister in law.

Now for the cherry on top of my day, I got a fortune cookie at lunch and it said
"You and your spouse will be happy in your lifetime together."
Now, I already I knew this, plus a little longer than our life time more like ETERNITY, but you know how it is when you get a fortune that is so close to your life or whats going on in your life, you can't help but love it.

After I opened that Lexi and Livi went and got about 50 fortune cookies and opened them ALL.
by the end they were making up their own.
Pretty clever, those two.

My cute fortune!

These are only a few of the cookies that they opened....

The BIG 6.

Well, it is that time once again...
It is time to announce that Husband and I have been married for
SIX MONTHS.
That is half of a year. In case you weren't aware.
It has been an amazing 6 months at that.
He is my bestest friend and loves me so much. I, of course love him more than anything.
He is so great. The greatest.
We have had a lot of adventures in just 6 months of marriage.
It's crazy to see what we have planned and hope to do in just another 6 months-ish.
Time has just flown, I thought I would be able to say I can believe that we have been 6 months, but I can't.
It seems like just yesterday we were getting married and sealed to each other for time and all eternity.
I can remember it perfectly.
The look in his eyes, looking at me. How tight he was holding my hand and listening to all the words that were said that are unique to our marriage.
I remember how nervous I was for him to see me in my dress for the first time.
Husband grabbing my hand as we walked out of the temple.
Being Mr. and Mrs. Carlton.
It really has been the best 6 months of my life.
My life has been better since the day we met a year and half ago.
Everyday I think its not possible to love him more and more, but everyday husband proves me wrong and gives me more and more reasons to love him more.
Because of him, I know love has no boundaries.
Love is infinite and my love for him will only get bigger.
I love you Babe!

Dog.

You want to know how Husband and I brought in the New Year?
................

By watching this show.
Dog The Bounty Hunter.

I watched the E! True Hollywood Story on him a few weeks ago and it was actually pretty interesting. This show is legit, I mean you hear a lot about how it is just acting, but it's real.
I kind of want his job.
Next time I am in Hawaii, you can bet I will be finding him!

Having a Dog Marathon on New Year's Eve was a good idea.

Husband had never seen the show before, but I think he liked it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!
