Church Ball.

Church Basketball.
It is something that is suppose to be more for fun.
But I can tell you now they take it WAY TOO seriously.
I'm sure it's like that in a lot of wards or stakes, but man. It has been a whole differently level of seriousness over here in our Deerfield Ward.
Fights, cuss words, yelling at refs.
Many games I have been to someone has gotten thrown out for any of those things.
It makes me laugh...out loud.
I find it highly entertaining.
Anyway, our ward played last night for a spot in the semi-finals and it was crazy. I even had to be in charge of the score board and clock. I was not excited about this. The guy in charge said "don't worry we won't let anyone yell at you." I said "If anyone does yell at me, I'm going to tell them where they can shove it and I'll be done and so will the game."
But it's ok, I did good!
Anyway, they game was INTENSE, but our ward pulled through and are now in the Semi-finals that play tonight. Lovely.
Just how I love to spend my Friday nights.
It's alright though, Husband has so much fun and I love to watch him. He's pretty good.
Well, I hope they win to make this Friday night game worth it.

Date With The Devey's.

Last night, Husband and I went out with the Devey's.
Husband works with DJ and Terra is his wife.
Austin (Husband's younger brother) also tagged along.
DJ has some hunting dogs and Austin just bought some. They are still puppies and so so cute.
but we took them all out to start training the pups.
They didn't do very good. They lost interest way too fast.
We also got to shoot one of Husband's guns.
Don't worry, I hit the target... I couldn't let Husband down after he talked me up.
After all of that excitement we got food at Cafe Rio!
It was so good, but wasn't the most pleasant thing to eat with a sore jaw.

Last night was so fun.
It was so fun to be with Austin and the Devey's.
It was wonderful to be with Husband and get to go on a little walk in the beautiful weather chasing after the pups.
Shooting guns, watching the boys shoot moving targets.
It was one of those nights where you remember to love the simple things.
I am so grateful for everything that I have and that I am able to enjoy the simple things.
It's all beautiful!

Coolio.

Working at the airport is cool, usually.
Like sometimes I get to meet famous people or at least see them.
We are technically suppose to be professional, so we're not suppose to ask for autographs and things. Plus half the time we are too busy to take the time to do that anyway.
Now, I know the couple of people I am going to mention are probably not that cool, but hey...They are famous.
A regular flyer on us is Donny and Marie Osmond.
and on Monday I saw Elder Archuleta. (David Archuleta)
He was on his way out to his mission, in his suit and his badge.
I wonder how his companion is liking that.
Ok..Now for a cool one, well one that I think is cool.
I saw LMFAO while on the way up yo a flight to work the gate.
I thought it was awesome. Fro's and all.

This next thing is just some cool facts about the LDS faith.
Some of them I couldn't believe like 34% of the public don't put their marriages as a priority.
No wonder we have such a high divorce rate in this country.
I am so thankful I believe and was taught that family comes first and making sure that your relationship and marriage are always taken care of and nurtured.
but, anyway..here you go. I think it's pretty cool. It also helps those who are not of the LDS faith to understand a little bit more about it and what we believe and that we are not a cult.

Teeth Of Wisdom.

Fact.
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday afternoon.
Fact.
I had never gone under any kind of sedation or anesthesia before.
(I ended up going under a light general anesthesia.)
Fact.
That was the only part I was so nervous for.
Sometimes I read horror stories about things.
Fact.
That's a bad idea.

But, I had an awesome Doctor (Dr.McBee) . He had worked as an anesthesiologist for over a year...so that made me feel better. His nurses were pretty awesome as well.
They told me the procedure would take about 30 minutes and then another 30 minutes for me to wake up.
Awesome part...It took less than that.
Husband said he stuck around for 15 minutes and they told him an hour so he went to Auntie Gayle's to talk about a project he is helping them out with. (they are only about 5-10 minutes away from Dr. McBee's)
He said no sooner than when he got there, they called him saying that I was done and basically awake.
Woohoo!
in by 2:30 they started around 2:40 I would guess by the time I got prepped and asleep and when I woke up the nurse told me it was just after three. When I finally got in the car it was just before 3:30. Dr. McBee has got skills!
Also..the only things I remember are right before when Dr. McBee was talking to me about Husband. The last word I remember saying is Australia.
The only thing I remember about waking up is the nursing say that I was already waking and I sat right up wanting to leave. I pulled off my heart monitor thing, but was still connected to the IV.
I woke up before they could get that out.
I remember for her asking for Husbands number, but I am not sure if I was able to give her the right number.
The front desk lady had it though..so it's all good.

Some stories I heard from Husband was when he walked in I pointed at him and called him a liar for not being there when I woke up. (he said he would be)
Then I guess I basically ran (in a zigzag) to the car.
Every five minutes I kept showing Husband my IV bandage and telling him I got and IV, later asking why he didn't one.
I asked him if we could have a baby a few times.
Umm.. I guess I kept asking him if I was pretty? haha.
I tried texting my mom. That is a one GREAT text.
It goes as follows.

"I.m done! tbey put me ind er r ge bral anesth we siA...... sc car 3g gf."

I told ya, pure skills right there.

Umm. I guess I wouldn't bend my legs to go down the stairs or something.

Anyway, I am doing pretty good this morning, just really sore.
Husband took such good care of my yesterday and still is. He is so good to me and I just love him for all he does and his hard work. He is certainly wonderful and I am so lucky to have him be mine.
I luh you, Boo.

Apology. Bowl. Hunger.

Happy Friday the 13th!
At least I hope.

Great news!
You that MSNBC clip I posted a few posts back?
Where Lawerence O'Donnell had false "facts" about the LDS faith and how is was "invented".
Well, He apologized!
It was said that there was not only an over-whelming number of people from the LDS faith that had said something and were offended, but VERY MANY people from other faiths that said what he said was wrong and were disgusted with how he was talking about religion.
Great huh?!
Well, I know he probably doesn't mean anything he says about apologizing, but it is still good he did! Maybe he will be more careful about what he says about religion.
Although I have found out this was not his first offense in having wrong facts about the LDS faith and being ignorant to what he says on his show on MSNBC.

Last night Husband and I went on a double date with Aubrey (his younger sister) and Elder Bartholomew or Zack, I guess I should call him, Husband still calls him Elder.
We went to Costa Vida!
I love their sweet pork, so yummy!
Then we went bowling...yay! (notice the sarcasm)
I'm not a big fan of bowling unless its like the kind where you go and do tricks.
You know kind of like monkey see, monkey do.
Or Horse.
Anyway, I won the last game and got 2nd place in the first game.
so that's good.

Tonight, I am finally going to see Hunger Games!
I have been waiting since it came it out.
Husband isn't to into those kind of movies so it has been hard and still is hard for him to want to see it, so I am going with his sisters Abby and Aubrey and His brothers fiance Madalyn.
At least that's the plan.
I have heard more good things than bad about the movie.
I hope I'm not disappointed.

Nine.

Yes, yes. It is that time once again.
Today, Husband and I have been married for 9 months.
It's crazy, time really does fly.
I'm loving every minute I get to be with sweet Husband.
I have said a couple times the last couple weeks to Husband that if we had a honeymoon baby, I would be due any day now. Well, you know somewhere around this time, I would be ready to POP!
I don't have much to say except all the same stuff I say everytime.
You know, how much I love Husband and how great he is. How lucky I am.
All that jazz.
Well, I still am so lucky and I am still so in love with my eternal companion.
Happy Nine Months to us!
I love you, Husband!

Let's Do Something.

Last night Husband and I went to the Temple.
It was such a wonderful session.
Everytime we go, I catch on to something new.
There is so much of me that just wants to explain in every little detail about why the Temple is so amazing, but I know I can not, but I do love it.
It is such a great service to do for those who can not go for themselves, it truly is and honor to be able to enter such a holy and peaceful place!
I love seeing Husband, his priesthood power is just radiant in the Temple.
Plus, he is just so handsome.
We originally planned to go to Draper, but they only have sessions every hour and at the time we were going that didn't sit well with us, so we ended up at Mount Timpanogos.
It's just like the Bountiful, so nice.
After we went to dinner, it's kind of our thing to go to dinner after the Temple.
We went to Texas Roadhouse and it was so yummy.
I got a steak medium-rare with a house salad and steak fries.
Husband got a Ribeye medium-well with a house salad and steak fries.
Just talking about our food make me hungry.
mmmmm....

Ok, now I have some business to handle.
MSNBC clearly DOESN"T know the facts about the LDS faith.
Maybe it is just because they don't like the Latter-Day Saints either.
But, we have a chance to make our voice heard and hopefully get these mistakes corrected.
Here is the video..... To get things are straightened out go HERE and put in a request to have their facts corrected.

Chiropractor.

You want to know a GREAT place to go?
The Chiropractor.
I don't know if ya'll remember, but a few posts ago I had a headache.
Well, that headache never went away.
A week ago I went to the doctor about it, because I started getting really bad neck pain.
She had said it is probably a job related injury.
You know all the lifting of the bags, plus just being in high stress situations.
Anyway, she gave me stuff. I hated it.
I hate taking pain pills including ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxin.
YUCK.
But, it did help, and I just tried to relax and take it easy.
but the pains would still come back.
So yesterday Husband walked me into Dr. Barrus' office and had me all straightened out.
I didn't even know you could pop your neck without breaking it like he did. Actually just about everything he popped and straightened I didn't know you could do that to body without it being dead first, but I can just say it felt SO GOOD!
Besides a little bit of a sore neck I do feel a lot of stress relieved.
Trust me, it's beautiful.
Dr. Barrus thinks that it is my muscles tightening up and pulling my skull so it is sitting on my first vertebrae and it's pinching that first nerve.
When he first started checking out my neck he said, "Oh girl, you need some help." haha...
Anyway, even if you're not in pain I recommend going to one.
It's lovely.

Thanks Husband for finally making me go!
You're so smart in knowing just what I need.
Love you, Boo.
