Stress.

Last night...Oh last night.
Let's just say it wasn't good, it was rough.
Stress, it's an awful thing.
It attacked me last night, but I'm ok now.
You want to know why? Husband. That's why.
He told me so. I believe him. I trust him.
Husband doesn't lie.
I'm ok. I'm better than ok.
I'm great! I'm happy and I'm smiling!
I'm alive, I'm married to the best husband, our future is bright.
We can see the light..in the distance. Closer would be nice.
The adventure will be fun though. It WILL.
This morning I was thankful for being here another day, that wasn't promised.
Another day with husband.
That's something that is probably not thought about a lot.
I love my life. It is the best it has ever been.
That little stress thing can go to...well you know.
You can't have a testimony without tests...
Today is a good day!
All is well here!

Philippians 4:13 was very helpful.

Also Alma 26:12, so good!

My Monday, Stupid, No Help Conversations.

I have a funny story for all of you.
Yesterday, I called a college to get information on it for husband.
You know price, classes offered, time, etc.
Well, the guy that is "helping" me is not very intelligent. At all.
So he first asks me for my questions..and I ask.
To say that least, he wasn't very helpful. He kind of beat around the bush.
He wouldn't give me straight answers. I was annoyed.
Then he asks if he can ask me questions about my husband and such.
I think it was more to show that they are friendly, that's about it.
Probably to be creepers as well.
Anyway....this is how it goes..

Guy: When did your husband graduate?
Me: 2007, then he went and got his private pilots license and served a mission.
Guy: Oh, he is in the military?
Me: Uh, No..He served an LDS Mission
Guy: Ohhh, for like the Air Force or something?
Me: It's like a religious service mission.
Guy: Ohhhhhh!! He was a missionary!
Me: (This guy is a smart one) Yep!
Guy: Alright, Desiree, When did your husband serve his mission?
Me: from January 2009 to January 2011.
Guy: WHAT? They go for that long, that is a long time.
Me: Yep, 2 years.
Guy: Well, What does he do for work right now?
Me: He works excavating, digging, construction stuff.
Guy: Oh that's cool..So he like digs for bones and stuff..like an archaeologist?
Me: (voice of "is this guy serious") uhhh, no. Like he lays pipe and roads and stuff.
Guy: I was way off.
Me: Yes, you were.

Yes..The entire conversation was that stupid.
Plus, he was no help.
Which equals out to be a huge waste of my time.

For the rest of my Monday. It was pretty good.
Husband got off work early, because, it was too wet to work from all the previous rain and thunderstorms the past couple of days.
So thank you rain!
I love me some Husband.
Anyway, we went to RCWilley and Creed got a PS3.
Needless to say I know where husband and Creed will be tonight.
Then we went to Wal-mart and got dinner stuff so I could make this new recipe I wanted to try. Oven-baked chicken chimichangas
You want to know how they turned out?
DELICIOUS!
Even ask husband, he said, "Babe..add these to the favorites list."
Yes, he has a favorites list.
Then we watched Goldmember with pretzel M&Ms and Starbursts..mmmmm!
Also, It was so weird Husband, Creed and I kept Sneezing all day. Kaaa...KAAA!
:)

Even though I felt less intelligent after that phone conversation I had. I still had a fabulous Monday with Husband!

Identical.

This weekend was basically identical to last.
We went to Fairview on Friday night and went boating on Saturday.
There were some differences though...liiiiike...
We had WAY more people come with us and we got to stay out on the "lake" a little bit longer, or more like a lot longer. I put "lake" like that because, it was more like a puddle. It was great to catch some Sun.
I don't know how many of you know this, but I'm a sun girl. I love the sun and I love the heat. I'm not too excited about summer coming to an end...Especially since it seems like Utah has been having 9 months of winter. I do love snow. Especially on Christmas, but 9 months is too much of it.
Anyway, We went boating all day and went tubing..again I'm sorry I didn't get pictures, but take my word for it Husband looks oh so cute wakeboarding. Seriously, he's a hottie.
He got some pretty awesome tan lines as well.
It was so fun to be with everyone, literally everyone. It was a relaxing, good, fun weekend. I didn't want it to end.
Friday and Saturday night were those warm summer nights and Husband and I went out on the porch swing and just sat and chit chatted a bit, Usually the family cam out a little bit later and we would have some good conversation.
Anyway, to say the least Husband and I had a very good weekend.

Surprise Me.

I love surprises. Usually.
Ok. I love good, fun surprises. That's better.
This week has been full of them. There are still 3 more days left of this week.
I guess depending on how you count the days.
Anyway....

The first surprise was when I was cleaning (attempting) my purse out and I came across $20! I know not a ton of money, but hey...being married now I have learned to make $20 go a long way!

The second surprise this week was when I found my OLD wallet. The one that I had while I was in Australia. I think that anyone who reads this blog should know that Australia is near and dear to my heart and Husbands, weird. We're so similar, so much in common ;) I found it and began to go through it. Do you want to know what I found. My boarding passes to and from Australia, my train ticket in Melbourne and the best thing...The pass along card Husband and his companion (Elder Jones) gave to me when we met at the mall in Melbs! I was so excited!

Pass along card from Elder Carlton & Elder Jones

They gave me their number, but only for giving them names of people they could visit.

The third surprise for this week..which you might have already seen, I posted about it on my other blog, but one of my best friends, Elicia. Who took our engagements also took my bridals and since I didn't get my dress until the day before the wedding, we took them after..like a week after. She just got done with a few of them, but no worries there are more to come...but yeah! I was excited for the sneek peek!

Also, I have started up my other blog again. I am doing this day challenge thing on there that I have seen several other bloggers do and it looks like fun, plus it will be great to look back on and to remember certain things about how I thought, knew, liked, disliked, etc. If you want to follow along, please do :) Day 1 is today!

Sweet Things

Do all of you want to know how sweet Husband is?
If you don't then you should probably stop reading this now!
Because...I am going to be telling you.

Well, I hardly ever fall asleep before husband. I won't say go to bed before husband. I never intentionally would go to bed before him, but there have been two time that I have fallen asleep before him.
BOTH times he has put me to bed. Isn't that sweet?
Don't say it's not, it is.

The first time I fell asleep in the family room. We were watching a movie or something...I don't know. I will usually fall asleep during movies, but will always get up when it's over. My eyes just pop open the second it's over, basically.
Anyway...This time was different. I didn't. Husband tried to wake me up, but apparently I didn't care. Just so you know I don't remember any of this...
So he attempted to carry me to bed the best he could, I guess I was being a pill. Sorry babe! When he finally got me to bed, he got me ready for bed, then tucked me in and ALL!
Sweet huh?

The second time, we were both already in bed, but he still got me ready for bed and tucked me in..again. What a precious husband I have. He tells me I am a pain trying to get ready for bed. Oops!

In other news...
We went to the Temple again last night..or last evening. It was wonderful!
If anyone ever wants to go with us, we go once a week. Usually to Bountiful, but we would love to go to other ones. Just let us know!

For a Little Enlightenment..
Philippians 4:13- Read it! You won't regret it!

Weekend...Again.

It's a new week. Happy Monday!
Husband and I had a great, fun-filled weekend down in Sanpete County.
Well..and Utah County.
Friday night we went to dinner with his cousin Lu and Colton.
Lu, is the one who did our flowers at our wedding that looked so amazing and beautiful!
If you didn't come, then you missed out, because the pictures don't do the flowers and decor justice. They were just the best!
Anyway...We went to the Pizza Factory and had those yummy twisty bread stick, things.
and pizza..duh.
After dinner we headed to Fairview. We went down there to help hold down the fort while Natalie and Jason were away for their anniversary, but they ended up coming home a day early and took us all boating! I can't even begin to explain how much I love boating, It was so fun and a great surprise!
This was Husband's first time going since being home from his mission and he had so much fun wakeboarding. What a cute husband.
After the small boating adventure they decided to leave again. Husband and I decided to order pizza and rent a movie for Lexi and Livi...and us, but shhhh!
We rented Rio and it was such a cute movie, plus it gave us a good laugh.
On Sunday we had to make sure everyone got up and made it to church. We also got everything ready for lunch. We made Cafe Rio's sweet pork stuff, but only with chicken. It is soooo yummy!
After Church, lunch, and clean up we watched Rio one more time and took our usual Sunday nap, love them naps!
After the naps, we packed up and headed back to Bountiful. I would say home, but I have realized that husband and I call both places home. Such as on Friday night leaving American Fork, We said "let's head home" Which was Fairview and then leaving Fairview we said "Let's load up the truck and head home" haha... Which is awesome. It is good to have more than one home, more than one place to feel like you belong. Ya know. The whole homely feeling.
Alright..Anyway. We headed back to Bountiful, and got into so deep conversation and reminiscing on our weekend :) It was a fun drive back.
We got back in time to watch some football and a re-run of Americas Got Talent. Very entertaining.
Later, before bed time. Husband got a call from Australia, it was Luke- one of his old mission leaders..ya know from the mission!
Husband's little Aussie swag came out, it was so precious.
When Husband was telling Luke some things that he wanted him to bring over from Australia when they come over here in a couple months, Luke asked if there was anything I needed and I said nope and he said "She already got all she wanted from Australia, a husband!" haha
So true though. :)

Well Folks, that was our weekend...
I thought it was just fun enough to share on here.
aaaaaand..I did.

Favorite, Plain & Simple...

It's a usual thing for me to wake up early...
Before husbands' alarm clock, early.
But this morning a thought came to me. It's a thought I have had before, but I had never gone that deep into it as I had this morning.
You probably want to know what the thought is, huh?
It was the thought that "this is my favorite place."
Nestled in the nook of husband. It's like that nook was made just for me.
I can hear his heart beat and the steady breathing of husband
The smell of axe and old spice.
Every now and then a kiss on my forehead, if he knows I'm awake.
I feel comfortable here. It's safe. There are no worries or stress.
It's a simple place to be, but it's my favorite.
Even more than Australia or Europe...or anywhere.
Plus, it's free!
Husband isn't just my favorite person, he has my favorite place.
I get to be there every night and even with hugs, I get just a minute of that place.
It's my favorite, plain & simple

Husband and I..and Creed went to the Temple last night.
It was awesome and very much needed.
As Husband and I do need a little spiritual confirmation on some decisions we have made.
I can proudly say that the Temple is probably one of my new favorite places as well.
You really have no worries in there.
All you have is peace and comfort. It's awesome.

I truly do love the simple things in life. They make it so good.
They make life less complicated and easier to enjoy.
Find the simple things in life and enjoy them, be thankful for them.
Find that place, that no matter if you have a million and one problems you will feel comfortable and safe. Those problems can't follow you to that place. All you can feel is happiness and peace.
I love my nook and I love the Temple, plain and simple.

My Heaven On Earth...

I feel inspired today.
I love my husband. I really do.
He is my prince charming in my fairy tale.
I'm so blessed to be with him for eternity. I wouldn't have it any other way.
He is the best thing in my life.
I can't picture my life without him.
He says he would be lost without me, but really I'm the one that would be lost.
I count my blessings everyday and he is always number one.
Everyday we are learning... A lot, but it's wonderful.
We're married, young and in love and more in love than ever.
and more in love each day.
Our family is what we have in heaven and how blessed am I to already have a piece of my heaven on earth?
So blessed.
I love him every second of every day, no matter what.
That won't ever change.
I love my piece of heaven. I do.
He inspires me. He supports me. He loves me. He makes me happy.
The happiest.
Let's face it, he is just so darn good lookin' and he's all mine.
Anthony, my husband is my heaven on earth.
I am keeping him...for way longer than forever.

I know I am so cheesy, but hey...I love husband.
Sorry peeps. I write whats on my mind. :)

Our First Camping Trip!

I am so excited to tell everyone that we had our very first camping trip!
Ask me if it was fun...Go ahead, ask me!
It was way fun, I love camping and camping with sweet husband was awesome.
We were invited by his family. There was, Anthony's dad and mom, his sisters Alexis, Alivia, and Aubrey, his brother came up for one of the days (Austin) and of course Creed came up with us!
It was awesome to get to be up in the mountains and have no worries, no cell phone service, to just be away from it all and relax and have a good time with husband and other family!
We went on the four-wheelers, just Anthony and I!
It was so fun, We went up this little canyon thing to try and find this tree his grandparents carved their name in like 50 years ago! We didn't find it, but we later found out that we didn't go down far enough..Dang it! That would have been cool to see!
Don't even worry Anthony made sure that we kept the tradition alive!
He carved our names in a tree! As you can see in the pictures above.
You can't get more precious than that! Seriously!
We saw a bunch of names from 1913!
I hope it is there for 50 years..or more. How cool would that be?
Anyway, Saturday night we got to sleep to the sound of rain! It was awesome.
Summer rainstorms are pretty bomb. Just so refreshing.
I also got to make a s'more, which I haven't done for so long! I had forgotten how much I love those things. That is a treat that always taste better when you are around a camp fire, ya know?
There isn't a lot to say. It wasn't an adventurous camping trip. It was just to be with family and to relax and enjoy the world around us. Which is the best! To me anyway. I love it.
Well, I guess that is our weekend in a nutshell. Our first camping trip in a nutshell, but believe me there will be MANY more!

It's What Fun Is...

Today...just so happens to be the 9th!
Which means, Anthony and I have been married for an entire month!
Alright, I know that is probably nothing to all you experienced, married folk.
I know, we have a lot to learn still. Believe me...I'm aware.
I think we learn something new everyday. I love it. It's fun to figure things out together. Usually.
Married life has been awesome. I mean how can it not be. I get to see and be with me best friend everyday. My best friend that I know loves me back and wants to be with me as much as I want to be with him. It amazing to see how much we have grown together and how much we have figured out and are STILL trying to figure out. I know that we still have a long ways to go, but I'm excited for the adventure and seeing where we end up!
It sometimes doesn't feel real that we are actually married. It was more so at the very start, but the feeling still arises now and then. It's crazy that all the stress of the wedding is done and gone. We're married!
One month down. Eternity more to go!

For FHE last night, we went to Lagoon!
I was able to get tickets for $10 each, it was awesome!
Thanks Elicia and Travis for the invite!
It was fun, we were only able to be there for 2 hours. Which equals out to be about 5 rides.
It was also Anthony's first time getting to go there and go on the rides!
He was so excited, bummer we were only able to get him on 5 rides. We're going to go again..He says.
He had fun and it was so cute to see how much fun he had.
The rides we went on:
1. Samurai.
2. The Fire Dragon.
3. Wicked
4. Wild Mouse
For our last ride we went on that sky ride, that goes across the entire park.
Yeah, I forgot how much I hate that ride. My mom use to swing it and scare me. I think she scarred me for life about that ride. I'm not the biggest fan of heights, but I love rides...especially roller coasters. I think it's almost like an oxymoron. I love planes and all that, but when I'm up high and I don't feel safe, I guess you could say, then I hate them and I don't feel safe on that sky ride.
I'm weird. It's fine.
I also, may have forgot the camera. Oops. Sorry people. I need to get better at this.
We were matching in turquoise t-shirts. If that helps a mental picture.

Weekend.ish...

It has been a good weekend. I think great might do it a little more justice.
Yes, let's go with great!
Number one reason why? I got to be with husband most of Friday and ALL of today!
Friday, he had to do some school stuff so his dad gave him the day off!
Isn't that just nice? Yes, it sure is.
But...I had to work, so lame.
Anyway, yesterday we went mini golfing at Boondocks. We also went out to dinner!
We usually hit up Chili's, ya know the whole it's cheaper thing, but last night we went to Applebee's
Which is basically a gross version of Chili's
I use to love Applebee's, but their menu is exactly like Chili's, but it sure doesn't taste like Chili's. Don't believe me? Test it out for yourself. I promise I'm not even being bias!
After dinner, we watched Troy, but me being Desiree I can hardly ever finish a movie without falling asleep. It's alright though, Husband fell asleep too.
He even attempted to try and carry me to bed, but I wasn't having it!
He's so cute though! What a nice husband!
Today, has been pretty chill.
I made breakfast and we HAD to do thank you cards!
That was tedious and boring, but we got it done! Hallelujah!!
Then...We took a nap, which we just got up from. It was quite lovely.
Unfortunately, he is getting ready to leave me to go do errands that I am not invited to :(
But Creed is. I see how it is...
It's alright though, we went to dinner and movie!
Chili's and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
That movie is pretty funny. I enjoyed it.
Isn't husband so nice to me? I just love him!

Also, is anyone else sad that Shark Week is over? I am. I didn't even get to really appreciate it!

I need to also inform everyone that my sister will be home, in Utah either...
August 11th or 12th..As far as I am concerned! Woohoo!!!

Husband and Creed really enjoyed playing rugby with the Provo Steelers!
They had so much fun. They even got hooked up with FREE NEW cleats! How great is that? Seriously!

Anyway, I know I am a terrible picture poster, but I have been trying to get better at bringing the camera places. Which I have I just forget to use it. My bad.

Wifey Points!..

Just some of the things they will be getting into.
Can't wait to see all their bumps and bruises

White guy vs. Poly. Oh boy.
Guess who scored some major wifey points?
I did! Alright, Anthony said "I don't think you can gain anymore wifey points? You have them all!"
Isn't that sweet? Anyway, I say I did, BECAUSE....
For the last month, since Creed has been home. Both of them talk about rugby, watch rugby, play rugby (to a point)...It's hard when there are just two of them. They have talked and TALKED about maybe putting a team together but it wouldn't be any fun. They would have to teach everyone how to play
Now, before I tell you how I scored my wifey points I should probably inform you all about where this love for rugby came from.
It came directly from Australia and New Zealand. They both went to Australia on their missions.
They both had a lot of Poly companions (which a lot came from New Zealand)
Rugby is HUGE over there in those countries, so yeah. It's a mission thing.
Well, Desiree just so happens to know of the rugby team in Provo.
The Provo Steelers or as they say "Steelah Nation! Yeah Boi!".. Seriously. I talked to my good friend Amoni and he said send them to play with us!
Anyway, I gave him Anthony's number and everything got set up from there.
They have their first practice today and yes they are the only two white boys on the team.
Last night when this all went down I'm pretty sure Husband and Creed were so giddy and excited.
Ecstatic, excited ..Seriously. It's ridiculous.
There is one bad part to this all though, I see Husband less :(
He goes to basketball (some mornings) at 4:30 and then to work and now on to rugby at 7:00pm.
Did I mention the practices are in Provo..so after practice they still have a 45 minute drive home!
BOO!
Oh well, it was so cute to see how excited he was to play, I know he misses it and misses Australia a lot. Probably more than I can comprehend, but I hope that this helps him not be so "homesick".
Wifey points = Infinity...give or take a few.

On a different, more sad note. Today is 4 years since Seth Fraughton Passed away.
Crazy how fast time goes.
We all know your killin' it on your new mission Seth!
(obviously not in the bad way...)

Husband Letter's....

Anthony still out on his Mission. He is the second from the right (next to the one with sunglasses on)

Yesterday, I was going through some of Anthony's letters that he sent me while out on his mission.
You know, way back before we were husband and wife.
It was so precious to read them and I could actually put his voice with them.
I know, I know...I had talked to him in Australia, but that was only for like 5 minutes!
Plus, I'm pretty sure I was just in shock (in a good way).
Remembering what it sounded like over 7 months was difficult, All I knew was he had an amazing accent. If you listen to him now he still has a bit of one, I love it.
People on our cruise would ask him where he was from...or if he asked them what part of Australia they were from they would ask him right back. It made his day. I could tell.
Besides being able to put his voice with the letters, it was fun to see what we said we should do when he got home and how many of things that we actually did do and still need to do!
What a cute missionary my sweet husband was!
Even now it is grand to be in a conversation with him and have something said that reminds us of those good ole letter days...
Who knew that day in Australia I was walking away from my future husband?
I sure didn't, but a girl can dream..right?
Anyway, just wanted to share my little experience yesterday.
Getting lost in those thoughts and memories was awesome!

New Post. New Week. New Month...

I feel like I start every post of a new out like.."I can't believe it's already (insert month here)." I really can't believe though that it is already August. Time certainly does fly. In 9 days Anthony and I will have already been married for a month. You can't tell me that's not crazy. It is.

Well, this week we are going to busy, busy bee's. Anthony works everyday, all day. I have to work and get Anthony to be admitted to school as a resident, right now he is admitted as a non-resident. Stupid huh? Which makes the cost 3 times as much. All because he hasn't lived consistently in Utah since July 2010, because, of his mission. Which shouldn't  even count. It's so lame.  Then we have to get him registered for classes and me as well, I know..We're pushing up until school starts. There is also lot's of super, fun laundry to do. I'm basically pro now.

Alright this last weekend was pretty fun, also really chill. The last two Saturdays before, we spent in airports trying to make flights..Which we did! Anyway, it was nice to be able to just be together. On Friday we went for our very first grocery shopping trip, together, as married couple. Then on Saturday, we went to Orem to pick up his truck that was getting it's tune-up and a few other things fixed. After that we met up with Creed and Marquelle and went to sliding rock. It was pretty cool, but the water was ICE COLD. People actually swim in it, apparently we are to..one day, says husband. He also says we are going to go camping soon, while the weather is still nice and warm! I sure hope so, I love camping. LOVE IT. On Sunday, our church doesn't start until one o'clock. Which I might add is the worst time for church. I'd much rather have church at 9am. Anyway, we went to church. We brought Creed along with us , of course. Came home and I made Chicken enchilada's! Yummy! I bet none of you can guess how we ended our weekend....That's right we watched the premiere of Shark Week! It's so awesome.

That was our weekend for all of you. Probably not to entertaining, at all. Unfortunate. Sorry.
