Fun Guns.

Pretty Mountains
Husband and I, mostly Husband...I just more of support this.
Have been looking for a little hand gun, mostly for fun, but also for some protection.
Not that his rifles don't offer that, but easier access protection, I guess.
Maybe more just for fun. I don't know, whatever.
Anyway so he is looking at them with me in mind and one day we went down to Cabela's just looking at ALL the choices. We were talking with one of the Gun dudes that works over there and he told husband that he should get a 45, but if he wants something that I can shoot, that he shouldn't get a 45...because I couldn't handle it. It's too powerful or something.
It made me pretty mad.
This last weekend Husband borrowed a couple of his friend Hooter's hand guns.
A 9mm and a 45.
We took them up the canyon to try them out and can I just say I OWNED the 45. I hit the target and everything. I really want that Cabela's dude to know.
Doesn't he know not to judge a book by it's cover.

Anyway, here are some pictures from our little muddy adventure.
And yes, I know my outfit it really..uh.. attractive.
I'm just lucky Husband lets me out of the house some days.

this picture doesn't look bad, but it was pretty muddy.

Husband being all tough with one hand.

don't worry, I didn't hold the gun like that the whole time.

My outfit, right?

view of Alpine, so pretty!

Friend Time & Stuff.

This is a bit late, but it's ok.
I must congratulate Gabriella Graham on her engagement!
I am  so excited for her.
Last year at our wedding Gabi was there waiting outside the temple for us. (with tears in her eyes, but don't tell her I told you that)
She was so supportive of Husband and I getting married and was always happy for me and I am so glad that now I can be happy for her and be one of her bridesmaids!
She always said she was never getting married, but look at her now!
Gabi, I'm so excited for you and you are going to make a beautiful bride!
Love you!

Jaqueline, Me, Elicia, Gabi
These are my best friends!
Husband is my BESTEST friend...
Right after the temple, Gabi is choking me, but it's ok..it's out of love..

Last night, Husband and I had the opportunity to go to dinner with our friends, Tyson and Karissa.
I forgot how much fun they are. They will keep you laughing all night.
At least I was laughing the whole time.
Our conversations can be described as...random.
They are leaving in a few weeks for Tyson's job, but when they are back this fall, I am hoping those dinners will happen a little more often!
Husband and I had so much fun, Thanks again you two!

Sorry, my blog is not being nice, my photo's won't stay where I put them and it's making everything get thrown off.
Oh well.

New Things And A Headache.

I feel more and more like a grown up everyday.
Yesterday was probably the most I have felt like one.
Husband and I bought a new car!
We were signing all these papers, writing checks and shopping for car insurance.
How adult is that?
It's a car that will be good for our future growing family, it's really safe and has excellent gas mileage!
Plus, it will be a good line of credit when we go to buy a house...one day.
Anyway, I was sad to get rid of my truck, which I called my mustang.
I'm sure he felt abandoned.

I will get to posting pictures later.

I have had a headache since yesterday evening. It will not go away and it is hurty!!!
Boo!

I have a little birthday shout out to my sister-in-law.

Happy Birthday Aubrey!
You're 18 years old and now no one can harass you about dating older guys.
I'm sure they still will, but hey you're 18 now!

88888888888888888888.

Yes, yes. It is time.
Today, Husband and I have been married for EIGHT months!
I think every time I tell about how wonderful it's been.
Well...I got about that same to say.
It's wonderful, so fun, and my love for him grows every single day.
Of course not everything is perfect, but how much fun would that be.
Our adventure has been so much fun.
Husband makes me so happy.
I also need to give him a little shout out about how hard he has been working lately.
You know how he severely sprained his ankle on both sides?
Well, he still went to work.
Pain ain't got nothing on my sweet hubby.
He also has been working really hard at school and doing really well!
He is so smart and dedicated, not just to school, but to me and all his family and friends.
I'm so proud of him and love that he is mine.

Also, yesterday I found a sale on camo pants for husband.
If your husband or anybody you know is into hunting then this was the deal for you.
Husband loves it, plus he can use them for work.
We got $130 worth of pants for $30.
That's right, they were only $7, each.
They were on sale for 50% off and then another additional 50% off of that!
What a steal right?

This Is Why, Kony 2012

I guess I should explain a little more on my last post.
The whole Kony 2012.

I have seen the articles of how only a small portion of donations actually goes to the invisible children. How a lot of it goes to products or salaries and so forth.
I do also understand that there are many other dictators in the world or even other charities that we can donate to, that the money or more of it actually goes to the cause.
Trust me, I know. If I had all the money in the world I would probably donate to St. Judes...or the Make-a-Wish foundation.
Just to make things clear I didn't donate to Kony 2012 and I am for sure not telling you to, but I was just trying to help the cause to make him famous. To help make people aware of the evil things he is doing to sweet children. The things he is making them do to their families and others.
I just want to help.
Help those tens of thousands of children to be free from him.
That can't hurt, right?

I also think that this can be good for us.
If we can stop him, what is to stop us from moving on the next or the next evil person?
It is power. We can get what we want from the government if we demand it. If we are together.
I do realize that there are things in this country that could probably be fixed first, but what is to say we can't?
We should learn from this.
I am for Kony2012 to help the kids, but also to help ourselves over here.
Why stop with Kony?
What else can we change?

Kony 2012.

http://vimeo.com/invisible/kony2012

I'm sure many of you have seen this on Facebook.
If you haven't. Watch it.
(it's the link I posted above.)
It is pretty powerful.
It's so good to see us, together to work for something great.
It proves that we do have a voice and it matters.
We can change more than what most people think is possible.
Not only should we support this cause to stop Joesph Kony, but to know that we can change a whole lot more. It can be here in the US or anywhere in the world.
We do have the power.
We are the leaders.

KONY 2012.
