Interviews. Great...

Yesterday, I had two interviews! One with the Stake President and one with our photographer/videographer, Joe Newman! Can I just say that I am probably the most awkward person alive. I am really good at making things way more awkward than they probably should be, that's for sure.

The Stake President interview wasn't awkward, President Martin is actually pretty funny. He obviously went through the interview and talked to me about some Temple things. He gave some pretty good advice, not to stress out about it and the experience will be a lot better and more memorable. Besides all of that stuff, when I was getting ready to leave he asked me where Anthony served his mission and I said (Melbun) Melbourne, Australia. He thought that was awesome and said alright and how did you two meet and when I told him in Australia, he couldn't believe it and wanted to hear the whole story. He thought our story was very unique :)

Now, for the next interview. Ya know the awkward one, with Joe. Can I just say I am not a camera person. I don't like the camera and the camera doesn't like me. It's quite unfortunate, really. Anyway, Anthony and I met Joe to have our "love story" interview to be put on our wedding interview. Lucky me, I got to go first. He sent Anthony for a little walk and sat the camera in front of me and asked "How did you two meet?" "What was your first date?" "Tell me about the first kiss." "First impressions." "Tell Anthony how you feel about him" and so on! Answering all of these plus more questions while looking at Joe, I'm sure he thinks I'm the biggest idiot alive. Then he interviewed Anthony and I got to go for my walk. While I was just sitting a little bit away on a bench, this guy with dreds just comes and sits next to me and asks what am I doing by myself and was being really creepy. Really creepy. After he finally left cuz I told him about Anthony, this other guy on a bike comes up to me and is also very creepy. He called me baby. Yeah, it was awkward and he was twitching and I was ready to run for it. haha. Anyway, after Anthony was done and he came and saved me, we had to do some candid video stuff. Ya know like us walking down the street holding hands, kissing on Que. Awkward. That's all I got, but I am excited to see how Anthony answered all of these questions! It will definitely be fun:)

Also, The is only like a week and a half until we get married! That's like 10 DAYS, people! We are almost to single digits! :) I go to the temple for my first time tomorrow, I'm excited, but we will save that for another post! :)

Meeting The Future...

This was our very first weekend that we met after he got home from his mission!!

This post is about one whole day late, but yesterday June 26th was one year since Anthony and I met in lovely Australia. It is weird to think as we walked away from each other in the mall that we would be getting married a year later! :) Well, ya know basically a year later. A year and two weeks later. ha :) I know I say this a lot, but I am so excited to marry him! He is the bestest:) I'm super lucky and so blessed to have him in my life and I am so glad that I made the decision to go to Australia a year ago and actually say something to the missionaries! I am also thankful for Anthony going on a mission, there really are great blessings of a missionary! Anyway, the last year has probably...no definitely has been the best year of my life!

This last Wednesday, Anthony and I got our marriage license! How crazy, right? Soon enough I will be a Carlton! Which reminds me this last weekend Anthony and his whole family and some ward friends were over and we were all outside and when it was time to go in Anthony's mom said "Carlton girls, it's time to go inside and go to bed." and Anthony came over to me and said "Soon that is going to mean you as well!" haha :) Also I will be going to the temple for my first time this week and I'm so excited, a bit nervous, but excited. Especially to share it with Anthony and his family and of course my family as well:) It's going to be a very busy couple of weeks, but it will be a good couple of weeks. 12 DAYS! :)

Check. Check. Only One More Countdown...

These countdowns are just coming and going so fast except this last one, ya know? The wedding. Is taking forever to get here. haha. Let's just recap a little bit. We had the first countdown until my birthday, which was fabulous! Check! the next one was for Anthony's best friend Creed to come home from his mission! Yep, check that one off as well. Creed came home yesterday afternoon! It was so precious to see how happy Anthony was..just a couple tears of joy, just melted my heart. Thanks to me and my mother dearest I was able to get Anthony, Shy (Creed's girl), and I gate passes so we could see him right off of the plane! It was hilarious to see Creed's face when he first saw Anthony and then to see him hide as he waited for his carry on bag to be brought to him...haha..Then as he walked out that is when you see Anthony and Creed hug and the tears and all that cute stuff. Anyway, the rest of the time..driving and visiting all of their friends was basically Creed and Anthony reminiscing in their missions and talking about similarities and differences in the place, people, mission, anything having to do with Australia really. haha. It was a good day. Good to see people happy and it was good to finally meet Creed, I have been hearing all about him for the last 6 months..haha Now for the last countdown which Anthony and Creed both said I was "trunky" for is the wedding!! Don't let Anthony fool you, he is excited as well :) haha 16 Days!!

I. Love. Australia...

Guess what today is? Today, the 21st of June is exactly one year since I left for Australia! I am so glad that I decided to go:) It is probably the best or at least one of the best decisions that I have made, ya know..besides marrying Anthony and deciding to talk to the missionaries while I was there. It is definitely among the top best:) The timing was perfect, I know that the Lord had a hand in Anthony and I meeting and much more and even before this earthly life there was a plan for us and I couldn't ask for anything better! I'm so blessed! To think that if either one of us had decided to just do one little thing different, go a different way, spend a little more time in a store then we would have missed each other and that is crazy! Anyway, I'm very thankful to have Anthony and his family in my life. I'm excited for the next 18 days or what is to come at the end of the 18 days! It's weird to think that a year ago today that this would be a trip that would change my life(in the best way possible, of course) :) I'm so excited!!! and so happy:)

Ready, Set, Go...

Hello! Only 19 DAYS until our wedding! I'm so excited, but the next week...the next couple weeks are going to be so so so busy! This week is going to be made up of addressing and sending out invitations! Yes, we finally got them in! They are so darn precious:) and getting a marriage license and I am assuming a lot of Creed...haha Let the games begin! This last saturday, well the past couple Saturdays I have been helping Anthony's family get their yard ready for the reception, such as pulling weeds and mowing their ginormous lawn and painting their swing set, which is still not done, but we have already put in at least 3 hours into painting it...haha and cleaning the house (which is already really clean);) but 19 DAYS! Ahh! I'm so excited!

Like A Kid In A Candy Store...

Anthony and I are finally registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond! At first we tried to get it all done online, but it got super boring and it took forever to look at everything one thing at a time! It was just a pain, especially since I would lose interest so fast, so we decided to just go into the store and use the SCANNER!! Let me tell you how much fun I had with this..A whole bunch! Anthony would be like "How about one of these?" and I would say "Yep! Scan it!"..most of the time anyway, some things I was like "No." ha. Anyway, Anthony said I was "like a kid in a candy store", but it was so much fun, especially when we got to Target and I got to run the scanner. haha... Anyway, it was quite the adventure! The scanner kind of reminded me of a police speed scanner thing, I was about to start pointing it at people, but no worries..I refrained! :) I highly recommend doing this!(registering, not the pointing at people)... You will not regret it! As for Anthony being a "kid in the candy store" you should see how excited he is for Creed to get home. It is so cute! 5 days until Creed is home!.... And 23 DAYS til we're married!!! If you count today, since it is so early, I am.

27. Twenty-Seven. 27. Twenty- Seven...

Since there are only 27 days until our wedding. I think it would be fun to list 27 things I just adore about Anthony! If he reads this I bet he says "Oh boy!" haha Well here we go..Oh and I should mention that these are in no particular order!

1. I love his little chuckle when I do/say something that was not meant to be funny.

2. I love how he calls me love or babe...There are some other good ones that I love but he probably will not like it if I shared, so I won't :)

3. I love his scruff on his chin ;)

4. I think he is just so darn cute in turquoise.

5. I love that he can smile with just his eyes, if he wants.

6. Being on the topic of smiles, I do love his sleepy smile! When he is just so tired!

7. Don't tell him this one, but I secret like it when he tickles me. I love how much enjoyment he gets out of it and how entertained he is with it..haha, but shhhh!

8. I love his hair cut, seriously! :)

9. I adore his jaw-line, weird I know, but I do:)

10. I love when he holds me hand, no matter where we are. Church, the car, the store, just anywhere!

11. I love that he likes that I am Native American.

13. I love that he is an RM! The best one there is!

14. I adore the love he has for his family. I know I am in good hands!

15. He might get a little mad at me for this one, but I think he has the most adorable bum. ;)

16. I love how much he loves the Gospel and how important it is to him. He has the strongest faith.

17. I love how he is a small town boy, but isn't lost when it comes to the city.

18. I love how good he is with a gun! Seriously people, he could be a sniper!

19. I love his hands. Don't ask me why. I just do.

20. I like when he will give me a hug, even though he is all dirty and sweaty after working or playing basketball.

21. I adore it when he adores me. :)

22. I love his hugs and kisses in general. So precious!

23. I love how selfless he is. Always thinking of others!

24. I love when he gets excited for something, he's so cute!

25. I adore his sense of humor. He can ALWAYS make me laugh and make feel better. He just makes me so happy!

26. I love his "I love you"s and "my pretty girl"s...

27. Shoot. 27 already. Lame. I guess to end the list I should say I love him.

This list really could go on and on. I just love him and every bit of him. He is the best and everything and MORE that I could have asked for. I am so blessed to have met him and to have him in my life! I'm excited to marry him and start our life together. He truly is the greatest!

Lately...

Well I suppose I had better get another post on here. There are only 30 DAYS until we get married! It is so close, but so far away. Everyone says that it will be here before you know it and I am finding that a little hard to believe. I was told the same thing when I was so excited for Anthony to get home from his mission and that turned out to be true..NOW that I look back at it. :) Anyway for about the last month we have been busy getting this and that done for the wedding. Checking things off of our lists and we still have quite a bit of things to check off... Such as getting our marriage license and finish registering at places and getting the invitations out, etc. I also had my alterations appointment for my dress yesterday and it won't be done until July 6th!! I pray that the lady does a most perfect job so we don't have to do any last second alterations! I also had to renew my license yesterday, so no more picture of me with my blonde hair. Sad. Tomorrow is the bridal shower that Anthony's mom is throwing for me, I'm excited for that:) I guess I should say as well that it was my birthday on the 5th of June and I am now 21! It was super fun and I'm so lucky to have the friends and family that I do and Fiance of course ;) Even though I had a double ear infection and am in the process of recovering, it was still a fun and amazing birthday:)
