Denver, Husband, Moving.

Where did I leave off...
Oh yes, Denver.
As some of you may know, I got a new job with Frontier Airlines and they sent me for a week of training in Denver. It was probably one of the longest weeks of my life.
I missed Husband so much.
Also while I was over there I got a terrible cold.
The whole sinus, stuffy, runny nose, sore throat, chills and body aches.
Working on the ramp in 85 degree weather with that was a nightmare. Yuck!
On my plane ride home with all the gunk in my nasal passages and ears, my ears ruptured or at least got really, really close. It was so painful. SO PAINFUL.
Also, while we were training at the Denver International Airport they took us to the tower and we could see over the entire airport and see all of Frontier's terminal. It was so awesome!
Well that is basically all for my training..

So, when I got home Husband was waiting patiently for me at the pick up area. You have no idea how happy I was to see him. I just adore him.
I still felt like a sicky wife and my ears hurt.
Husband took such good care of me . I wasn't hungry at all, you know how you lose your appetite when you are sick, but he got me ice cream! I originally thought we were going back to his sister's house, but when we pulled out of the ice cream place, he pulled into a hotel!
I was so confused and kept asking why we were here. I know dumb question right?
Since being away from each other for a week, he thought it would be good to just have some us time, since it is hard being at his sister house for the last couple of weeks.
When I walked into the rook there were flowers laying on the bed and one of my favorite perfumes.
Isn't Husband precious?
He was just adorable. I didn't feel good so he just let me snuggle next to him and let me sleep on his chest, my favorite little nook!
He also told me I said some pretty weird stuff. Liiiiike..
I asked where the plane was and such.
Anyway..Thanks Husband, you really are the best and I love you!
I am also super sorry you caught my sicky.

They were waiting for me.. Cute.

Beyonce's Heat- Smells good.

I love Husband.

Other news is..We are moving tomorrow! Yahoo. We will finally have our own place.
Plus, the last few weeks have been crazy and lots of driving and working until 12:30 AM. We have been going back and forth between Fairview and Orem. We were at my parents, but a series of unfortunate events happened and it didn't really work out so here we are living out of suitcases and waiting anxiously to move into our new place!

Well, I think that is about it with the quick updates and what we have been up to..

Blur.

Oh my goodness!
The last couple of weeks have gone by so fast. It really has been a blur.
There has been a lot going on.
Working probably has been the biggest thing for both Husband and I.
Work, work, work.
Trying to spend some time together.
It has been a bit difficult lately, but hey. I guess that is part of the first years of marriage. Work your brains out until you can get somewhere or more like while you're getting somewhere.
I am blessed to have Husband, I adore him so much and he is so supportive.
The shifts I work right now are tough on me and I think maybe him, we don't see each other a lot, but he still loves me! haha :) Love you, Boo.
We are moving this weekend and hopefully I will be able to gather some time to give a real update of everything and tell you how things are going with the new job, our new place, new plans-ish, and other things.
I can't believe October is just around the corner.
Where did September go?
Anyway, stay tuned!

Denver.

It is only Tuesday.
I still have three more days here..well three and half.
and three more nights away from Husband.
Boo!
I just miss him so stinkin' much.
I miss my nook.
Anyway, I made it to Denver, if you didn't already gather that information.
I'm here. Joy.
My flight here consister of 88 obnoxious junior high school children and 20 brand spankin' new missionaries. They were just about scared of everything. The missionary sitting next to me fell asleep hugging his teddy bear...haha. What a girl.
I was literally surrounded by them. Some guy walked by and pointed at me and said "how did you get so lucky to be sitting by all these good men?"
(Men? Puh-lease.)
"You should get their address' and write one of them, by the time they get back you will be old enough to get married."

I said, "I'm already married."

He didn't believe me and said, "you can't be older than 16 or 17."

"I am actually 21."

That went on for a minute more, then take-off and landing and children yelling their conversations. It was so fun.
First day of class, they basically began to tell us that we have the most dangerous job working in the airline industry, don't get sucked into the propeller engines or have a piece of debris picked up and shot at you.
Cool. Thanks.
Now it is the second day of training and guess what tomorrow is..the third. Good job.
Anyway, I miss Husband. I do, I do.
He is so precious and I can not wait until Friday when I get to see him! Yay!!!
I have a huge hotel room all to myself.. (hint, hint husband.)

I must be off.
Bye.

Another First.

We literally have no plans for this weekend.
For about the first time in the history of our marriage. Who knows, maybe even our relationship. Maybe.
I did say I was going to blog about our "firsts" so..There ya go.
Anyway, it is extremely weird to not know what we will be doing this weekend, if anything.
I'm sure we will watch all the football going on!
Wait...Yeah I just reviewed and confirmed that with myself, we will be watching football.
What else? Who knows.
I hope we do something since I leave for a week on Monday!
Which I am getting more nervous about.

I really have nothing to blog about either.
I probably shouldn't be...my blog may be getting boring. Oh darn!
Sorry folks.
I really need to do laundry and decide what to make for dinner.
hmm...

I guess I could tell you that I am still bald.
We got a couch and a TV yesterday, we're pretty excited about our purchase. It was such an adult decision. We are so married, it's ridiculous.
I love it.

Happy Weekend!

My Hurr.

My hurr or my hair...Sometimes I'm gangster.
But not really.
Well...I did not cut my hair off..yet.
but I did cut it, I guess more like trim it, but i got like 3 inches cut off and 4 inches off the layers! When you have long hair 3 and 4 inches are a lot!
My hair feels so short...I don't know if I can cut it off...
Hmmm.. I guess we shall see. In a while, that is.
I already feel bald.
But my hair now feels so good that all the dead and dry stuff got cut off, plus some. I guess it's alright.
Well, until next time.

Baldy out.

Airport(s).

The past 2 days have been nothing but airports for me.
On Monday is when I went to Denver for my orientation.
I got into Denver at 8:30am and left at 3:00pm.
It was super fun...Really it was.
I love airports. I can be entertained all day by people watching.
It's a great past time.
Anyway, at the orientation they briefed us on the company, and about all of our benefits..you know health, vision, dental, and the best..FLYING benefits!
I'm so excited about that.
So is husband.
Watch out world, here come the Carltons!
We also got finger printed and had to take a drug test, fun stuff right there. I was also the only one there that was going to be doing ramp, everyone else is doing customer service, but in Salt Lake all agents have to be cross-trained, so I will be doing customer service eventually.

I'm excited about ramp, I hear it is an awesome work out!
I can get my muscles going again.

Yesterday..or Tuesday.
I was at the SLC Airport all day doing some online training.
it was a fun 7 hours of sitting on the computer and reading and then taking tests.

On Monday I leave for Denver for a week to get my initial ramp training so I can actually start doing the fun stuff! I'm excited and so nervous and sad to be leaving husband for a WEEK!
That is a long time people.
One of his good friends comes home from their mission next week, so he probably won't miss me too much..haha
Plus, he has Creed..They can play PS3 or something.
Meh! :(

OH! We also found an apartment, an awesome apartment!
Hopefully we can move in around October 1st.
Speaking of October, Husband's birthday is next month. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good gift for husband?

Never Forget.

It's the anniversary of 9/11..
I do like to point out the obvious sometimes.
It is a day that has gone down in history.
A day that has changed our lives as citizens of this country.
It was a tragic day. Many lost lives.
It brought fear to Americans, but we never lost hope.
We all became stronger and stand more together.
It is a day that should not be forgotten and will not be forgotten.
We won't forget what happened.
We won't forget the feelings.
We won't forget the people, the heroes.

With that being said..
I also don't think as we remember this day that we should get stuck on the images of the planes hitting the towers, or of the towers collapsing.
Don't dwell on the hate.
That is what they want. They want us to fall apart and remember what they did to our country.
That they attacked us.
They should know, they can't win.
It should now be a day of remembrance for the people
and a day that we did not fall apart.
A day we stood strong and have become stronger.

I don't want this to come across rude.
On this day I hear a lot of "I can't believe they did that." or "I can't believe it happened."
or even a lot of hate. Even toward our own country.
It happened.
It's not a happy day, at all.
It's tragic, sad, depressing.
But remember we didn't fall. We're still here.
We're still fighting.
Remember the people, all the people.
Who fought and are still fighting
Celebrate for our country.

I love this country, not so much the people running it, but I do love this country.
The freedoms we enjoy are such a blessing.
We will never forget what happened.
We can't.
U.S.A!

Also, A little shout out to my Aunt Luci!
Happy Birthday!!!
